    I guess if we miss out on Watson we are probably the only club that can afford James Maloney's asking price if the Sharks offer to release him. If Cronk actually decides to play we would probably be the only club that could afford him as well

    The hardest thing with the Hogko situation is he sounds like such a great bloke and a really good clubman. You can imagine the dummy spits and minimal input from many other of our recently departed players if they were in his position.

    Havent really seen much of Ese Ese but from an experience level he would even be behind the Saifiti's although he is slightly older. If he gets $500k or $600k a year then Daniel S would be entitled to put his hand up for similar money in 2018

    At the beginning of the season I thought Manly looked like a bottom 4 team. They've outperformed so far. Thank god Tom T isn't playing. He destroyed us in the first half last year.

    Gagai did have a good game but I wish he would put the fend away on kick returns deep in our half. Seems to just end in him being driven backwards and puts more pressure on the wingers trying to scoot from dummy half.

    I can't even explain that lack of possession. We didn't even drop the ball that much. Just completely outclassed physically and Cronks kicking game was spot on .

    This could be just a rumour but I wonder if Gagai has any sort of release clauses. Souths could end up in a 5 year rebuilding phase they way things are going. That could be close to 10 years of getting flogged on a regular basis for Gagai...

    I havent seen a huge amount of reserve grade but would Nick Meaney be next in line to get a crack as far as outside backs/Full backs go? Seems to be quick and not easy to tackle but is also pretty small.
