    How is that relevant? I'm not arguing that they paid peanuts for Suaalii but I think it's an investment which will pay dividends. I'd argue Suaalii is of more value to RU than both Tedesco and Cleary because he has a history and a desire to play RU. He shouldn't take long to 'acclimatize' and...

    Because he hasn't played Origin he's unproven? Let's not act like he's a run-of-the-mill outside back, he's the best young player in the game and has a history in RU already. If paying $1.6m is going to send the RA broke, their bread is already buttered so may as well throw a hail mary or two.

    f**k I find it cringey the way Gus and co. go on about Union. So insecure. He's the best young talent in the game, I think it's a smart decision from RU. Definitely going to bring them some profile, good luck to him and them.

    I don’t think we're in as much trouble as some make out. Still very early days. Our attack is bang average but that has been the case for the last couple of years. We could easily be 3 - 0 (same as Parra tbh). Outside of the Broncs, I haven't seen any other teams improve enough to really worry me.

    Not sure why people are so critical of Garner and/or Hoskings, unless we’re paying Cleary $1.3m to take the wrong option more times then not, he should be the one in the firing line. Edit: this aged well.

    Dropped the ball a couple of times, other times they stick. The fact he got himself in those positions, most of the time from solely his own doing, is a great sign. That try saver from Mitchell as well was world class.

    Souths were very light in the middle last night. We got time and space out wide because our forwards trampled them. Bring back Tatola, Arrow and even Sele and I think they're a different proposition.

    El Salmondo has genuinely impressed me thus far this season. Has added some size and was a real handful last night. Think he can definitely do a job on an edge if required. Great to see Garner have a good game last night also. Ran hard from the 1st minute and ran some smart lines.
