    Round 10 v NZW

Garner has to start on the left, its a no brainer. Although it’s been a no brainer for two weeks now.

Round 9 vs Tigers - Bathurst

We just need variety. Our options when going to an edge are so predictable. Hoskings is our best hole runner and he may as well wear a suit in attack, Cleary uses him as a decoy 95% of the time. Everything is so premeditated and pedestrian. Garner also needs to be on the other edge...

Round 9 vs Tigers - Bathurst

I’d rather be directing my criticism at the bloke being paid $1.3m but gets a free pass because ‘our forwards got beaten’. If a half can only perform when his forwards control a game he isn’t worth half that amount.

Round 9 vs Tigers - Bathurst

I’m more surprised Turuva is playing. Wasn’t the kid in a moon boot?

Round 9 vs Tigers - Bathurst

Peach is still a capable footballer/replacement centre. Umina is just being more dramatic than my wife ffs. I didn't even know that was possible.

    Former Panthers in the NRL

We'll just move him to 6 and drop Burto.

Round 9 vs Tigers - Bathurst

Shouldn’t be hard for people to say Cleary is playing bang average without having to give excuses as to why or saying Luai is worse. No one’s saying he’s a shit player but at the end of the day he’s getting $1.3m a year, is our marquee man, and controls our attack which is going like a busted...

Between The King and Lee Hookey.

    Round 8 vs Souths

They should be. But why isn’t Cleary getting the same treatment? He’s the one with the most touches on the ball especially in the opponents 20. Luai isn’t playing great but Cleary isn’t that far ahead of him. His deficiencies this year have been covered over by some huge clutch plays - which...

    Round 8 vs Souths

Don’t play him then. He either plays or he doesn’t. Shouldn’t get a get out of jail free card because he’s playing injured. He’ll come good so not too worried about his form but people can’t pick apart Luai and then not say a word about Cleary.

    Round 8 vs Souths

Luai’s form has been average at best but he looked a lot sharper last night. In addition to losing Kiks, he’s had 4 different backrowers next to him and hasn’t had the chance to build any combos/learn the players attributes. We have to pick and stick with Garner on that edge. Clearys decision...

    Round 8 vs Souths

Did you see some of Clearys last tackle kicks tonight? Very selective viewing by the Burto fan boys.

    Round 8 vs Souths

No excuses, they've got their fair share as well and were in a similar position to us in Rnd 2 with a lot of outs.

    Round 7 v Knights

No one saying Cleary isn't a gun or won't improve but if Luai was playing 7 and we had 40-odd tackles in their 20 without a result, there'd be many on here going after him. Cleary seems to be pretty robotic with his decision-making at the moment. I think that impacts Luai as the predictability...

    Round 7 v Knights

Think Cleary gets a bit of a free ride because he can kick field goals when needed. He’s been no better than Luai with ball this year. Bit of Moses downhill skier about his attack this year. Looks like a world beater when we’re on the front foot but has made some seriously average...

    Round 7 v Knights

Hollow win. Better team lost tbh. Salmon legit turned the game when he came on. Ran hard and lifted our intensity. The ocean GOAT. Gees our attack can be predictable. And dumb. Very dumb.

Kinda feel Crichton is really at that tipping point at the moment in his career, granted Crichton has plenty more runs on the board in terms of big plays. Similar style and physique though.

    Round 5 v Canberra

People get way too upset about Kent and co. having an opinion that differs from Penrith is god. He's creating some drama and obviously doing his best to defend his mate who is rightfully getting hammered. Who cares. His argument doesn't even make sense which is the best bit of it all.
  19. martielang

    Round 5 v Canberra

Martin a line runner? When? He plays like a middle forward on the edge. I actually wouldn't be surprised if we end up seeing Garner and Hosking on the edges for big minutes with Martin playing in the middle rotation. The dismissal of Garner as an option after 1.5 games is insane but very...

    Round 5 v Canberra

Hoskings has been an absolute weapon since he came in, his spot to lose. But the narrative that Garner hasn’t shown glimpses is just bullshit really. Garner will still play a large part this year, was excellent against South’s and then injured the game after. For whatever reason he was judged...
