    We really missed edwards getting us on the front foot with his kick returns. He attacks the ball and generally gets between defenders giving us some momentum for To’o and co to work off. Crichton jogging cross field and being dominated by 3 defenders crushed any momentum we had to start the set.

    Tbh I feel for Staines. Went from first choice, to fourth choice and not playing for 5 weeks, to being thrown in again. He definitely looked short of a gallop. His missed tackle was tough, most times you’d expect the inside men to cover that and he’d be praised for the defensive read.

    You're right, Edwards will be key. He's very confidence based. If he drops a ball early or makes an error he gets the yips. Still brings a lot to our side though which gets unseen by the majority of other supporters. His positioning and organisation of the defense is second to none imo. Beats...

    Actually thought Huth would get the nod over Leniu given they are more like for like. Plod for plod. Toiler for toiler. Hopefully Leniu rips in in the 6 minutes he's on the field. Bigger minutes for JFH and TPJ you'd think.
