The Game Jerseys, Logos, Mock Ups, Photos ANYTHING

Names on the jerseys and an individually specified number for each player would be a nice touch for the NRL. Global branding for say, Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) and Tom Brady (12) is right on point and absolutely not limited to just them. Makes it more marketable and as said above, with players...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

They moved to ANZ in 2006....christ, I didn't realise it had been that long. They were tenants in the SFS from 88-05, minus the 2 years outside, so almost on par with each other.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

ANZ should be used as a "earn to play there" kinda deal. So Origin, tests, prelims, grand finals etc, maybe even large marquee games such as Good Friday, Easter Monday & ANZAC Day. Souths back at the SFS would be very nostalgic for sure. It makes no sense for them to be playing out of Homebush.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Correct, but the news is suggesting it will be a joint use stadium for Canterbury, WT and the Bulls

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

I don't understand how anyone can justify creating a brand-new stadium in Liverpool when the stadium in Campbelltown is an existing structure right next to a train station and has ample parking facilities and thriving venues around it. Wests could use it for 7 games a year (3 at LO, 1 in...

Would Scotland be worth a risk for the license?

    West Coast Pirates Bid News

The largest obstacle for Perth as team 18 is NZ2. Plenty of talent over there, plenty not keen on willowing in the AB system for years, and the potential for an NZ derby is all good points. Both 'bids' have great timezone potential as well. I think Perth's rekindling will be from a relocation...

    2022 NSW HWNP

Not a clue, the coaching structure of the club is very tight-lipped when it comes to changes. Who knows really. It's an interesting point in here though regarding pathways - since the comps mostly get played separate from each other, I don't imagine there's much issue, yet, in regards to...

    2022 NSW HWNP

    * Cabra were abysmal. Build up locally before entering the fire. * Glebe I'll concede In regards to Helensburgh, I think they've withdrawn because their former coach has now signed to coach the Wests Tigers HNWP side for 2022 [you'd think that was a HUGE bargaining chip for getting Apps & Sergis].

"It’s very realistic to say that we’ll have a second team in Brisbane in 2023": V'landys

Perth or Christchurch will be the 18th team. Logic to me suggests it'll be Christchurch, to bring in the NZ derby. Which then leaves Perth & Adelaide open for a relocation of a team. Who that ends up being, well, time will tell.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

re: Tigers - the Bulls and the A-League are committing to an upgrade of Campbelltown Stadium, so it's only logical that we stick solid with the Campbelltown venue and help it further prosper.

    WCC news

WCC was once a great concept but the scheduling of it is always an issue. Post-GFs it eats into end of year breaks, and in the usual February window, the NRL are putting more focus upon trial games (although this could be alleviated with the Dolphins entry).

2022 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

It's the NSWRL, we won't have public knowledge until February at the earliest hehe

"It’s very realistic to say that we’ll have a second team in Brisbane in 2023": V'landys

Who is the tip for you guys? Of the 3 bids, I think Redcliffe have the best bid but a really sh*t name. I also love a mainly red jersey

"It’s very realistic to say that we’ll have a second team in Brisbane in 2023": V'landys

Oh of course the opportunity is prime, but I'm sure they've got some huge launch thing ready for the reveal. I remember all the fanfare when the GWS and Macarthur Bulls licences were revealed.

They said AFTER the grand final, so I'd assume Tuesday once the celebrations have wound down for Penrith or South Sydney. They aren't going to announce it during the ceremony lol

I like the Jets colours, I like the Dolphins name. Given the 17 team schedule, it'd be a matter of time before club 18 emerges. Perth & NZ2 would be prime candidates for that slot you'd think with the TV scheduling they can offer.

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

I'd love an open forum type deal, where the paying member gets to go along and have their say on the operations, performance, players etc to really show them what their true stakeholders think, rather than them cosying up to the sponsors and corporate goons.

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

I think Madge likes him. He's always been very supportive of him in pressers, spoke highly in clips on tiger town, and from training sessions i've attended they seem harmonious.

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

Woods for 200k on one year is perfect - motivation to stay around if he does carry his weight. He's at least got some leadership clout as well. I still think they need to throw the sink at Sims. Elliott could be a good egg as well. But no, no way would I go near Scott - to be sacked from the...
