If you guys aren’t going to use Luai..

No deal go bug the Roosters for Brock Lamb.

    hookers for next year

I would give Katoa a par score from Friday night. He was good in defense and he spotted an opportunity to go down the left edge for Mansour who nearly scored. However the other aspect of his game the lack of running from dummy half is a concern. I don't know if he is currently restricted by an...

    Round 3 vs Storm

Those signings are the price we pay for upgrading and extending Cleary, Blake,Fish, Luai, RCG etc recently. As well as having Maloney & Tamou on healthy deals. Sacrifices had to be made elsewhere. Your Grant, MWZ, Sele and co signings are budget buys for our limited space. We have the cattle...

    Round 4 V Tigers

We might as well start this thread now. I expect the Tigers to come out fired up and I expect a bit of heat this week from the media on us. For us Kikau and Yeo coming back will be a big boost. Edwards needs to be dropped among others. If only we could get some tries out of our backs and...

    Is Cleary a dud?

If results like last night continue he will be lucky to last half the 5 year term.

    Round 3 vs Storm

Yes we are still the only side after 3 rounds not to have a back score a try. We now average a lousy 10 points a game in attack. Pathetic.

    Round 3 vs Storm

Fun fact. Heading into round 3 we are the only side not to have a back as a tryscorer. That includes counting the Titans who have only scored one try.

    2019 Wooden Spooners

Bulldogs but I wouldn't write off the turf at Brookvale dragging Manly down. It looks to be worse than last year and when I saw poor old Brett Morris gone down I thought there are going to be some injuries this year playing on it. Thankfully we do not play there this year but Manly have another...

Titans are getting smacked right now. Is the Peach home sick yet?

    Former Panthers in the NRL

When he was coming through the grades with Nathan there was a belief at the time he would be the better of the two. Injuries in the lower grades slowed his development. So a bit of lower grade hype added with his man of the match performance against the Warriors. He has a lot of natural talent...

    2019 Discussion

Compared to other packs last year our middle meterage sucked. No wonder we were linked to Ah mau last year.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Robert Jennings doesn't have a contract for Souths but I believe he is still training with them. I thought the Sharks wanted seggy gone with the younger Brailey coming through?

One thing I noticed with Ivan this year at the Tigers he likes to rotate his players.

Sharks cap superthread - latest: NRL clears Flanagan to assistant coach from 2020

We didn't lose Sanyo Panasonic took a 50.2% stake in Sanyo in 2009, and by 2011 Sanyo became a wholly owned subsidiary of Panasonic. At the time parent company Panasonic planned to terminate the Sanyo brand. Due to the takeover the Sanyo brand couldn't extend with us. Our deal was honoured and...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

I will give him a go but I am a little puzzled as to why we didn't wait a bit longer to fill our 29th spot. I assume the 30th spot will go to a junior prior June 30 next year. There was an article in the paper the other day about several clubs possibly being over the cap when a post season...

    2019 Top 30

I would rather the (cough cough) experts write us off than over hype us.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Kasiano is being shopped around with Melbourne willing to pay freight. I feel the last 2 years he has shed too much weight in a bid to play more minutes. He is better as chunky impact runner off the bench. If you could get his weight right I think he could be of value to some club.
