    That's a shame. You have a region begging for a team to represent them in that division and they can't get the resources needed. This is, once again, where the NSWRL let's them all down with their misorganisation of their lower tier competitions. Shield could be something amazing, same with RMC.

    In theory it would be the best fit. No idea what the intercontinental cup is (or I do if it's the rumoured 8 nations event). Australia could always play a 'B' side and kick ass without our stars.

    Glebe Rugby League return

    Nothing will be said until a month before the season because the NSWRL deep down don't care for the RMC or Shield comps. I've heard rumblings that Glebe will enter a RMC team to replace Kingsgrove (they'll go to Shield).

    Rochdale are the League 1 Champions. It was mentioned as so when they defeated Toulouse to win the promotion final. It's their unofficial playoff with the aim that team 2 can be promoted via the playoffs as well, but, that fell apart when Toulouse choked and had to get promoted the hard way.

    What I meant was that the NRL can set a fixed schedule like the AFL does without having to worry about the networks bickering over their preferred games.
