    Peter V'landys - New NRL/ARLC Chairman

Exactly. Not much difference in equity once the AFL do those renovations. That 80m+ comes straight off the top of that 314m equity.

314m - the 80m+ government grant for renovations. Its a lot close than your letting on.

''If you take out Marvel, you need to take out the loans associated with it from the liabilities.'' This did not occur to me, Good point. Thanks for clearing that up for me. The ARL of 1995 has got nothing on the NRL of 2023.

    Peter V'landys - New NRL/ARLC Chairman

2002 Rugby Union had more central revenue than the NRL. Mind boggling.

Look at that after the Super league War. 1998 - 2005. Average gap in revenue during this period is 92m a year or close to 150% higher than the NRL. AFL total revenue 1998-2005 1.144b ARL total revenue 1998-2005 499m Today A like for like comparison. AFL 800m no Marvel stadium. (440m+ in...

AFL revenue more than double ARL revenue in 1995. Thank you very much. How someone can argue the game was in a better position in 95 i will never know.

It would appear, yes. A look at other metrics. ARL 1995 aggregate viewers lucky to be 50m aggregate a year NRL 2023 aggregate viewers per season is tracking for over 140m. More than 100% more eye balls on the game. ARL tv deal 1995 10m a year AFL tv deal 1995 17m a year AFL broadcasting 70%...

ARL average crowd 13.9k AFL average crowd 29k ARL broadcast deal 1993 10m a year over 4 years AFL broadcast deal 1992 17m a year over 5 years AFL broadcasting was almost double ours. We where not bigger than the AFL in 1995, stop believing in myths brother.

The AFL also have 450m in liabilities. Its not an achievement to borrow money to lift your revenue. Everybody is doing that these days. NRL have a net position of 200m to buy up assets. In due time they will when they find assets worth investing in. So yes i believe the NRL is healthier...

AFL turnover includes 85m Government Grant for Marvel reno and Marvel stadium revenue of 80m. AFL competition revenue is around the 770m mark. NRL competition revenue in 2023 will be over 640m. AFL revenue would have been more than double the ARL in 1995. Good talk. hahaha

Competition crowd average was 13.9k in 1995. NRL 2023 average crowd 19k+ So less people through the gate even with 20 teams in 1995. Club grants today of 17m+ each. Record viewership Yoy. Soon to be 18 teams. NRLW going from strength to strength. 90% of clubs last year turned a profit. Record...
