    Well, nobody predicted Parra would be in contention for the spoon. The other worst prediction for the season was all the media jockeys picking the Wahs for either top 4, GF or Premiership. Beaten only by Brisbane in terms of underperformance.

    Not really a fan of music as GF entertainment, but I understand it’s the done thing. I do like the idea of the NRL sprint though to see who is the fastest in the game. I think that would attract some interest. Are they actually having that on GF day, or did I misread it somewhere?

    So, are we all in agreement that Kevvie is now favourite? Coaches are never safe when they’re at a powerfully backed club and/or there’s power hungry boofheads on the board who want to look tough. Neither of these apply at Canberra so Ricky’s probably got a job for a while.

    yes, this has been said during the week by a number of commentators. Mid season sackings lead to a wasted season. Parramatta has been used as an example.

    Kevvie’s presser is going to be eagerly anticipated almost as much as a Raiders one. In fact, the only reason to watch Raiders games is for the presser afterwards.
