The key to Penrith's success belongs to the Kiwis

? Born and bred in Sydney. Spent some of his childhood and junior league development in NZ granted, but most of it is attributable to St. Dominic’s College and Brothers Penrith.

    Des looking shaky at Manly

Is that any reason to throw Hasler under the bus though? And in any case, what do you think “consultation” would have achieved with these players? Manly Warringah CEO: “Hey, guess what guys? In Round 20 when you play the Roosters in a month’s time, we’re celebrating pride week to show that the...

Is Ivan Cleary the most over rated coach in the NRL?

Wow, how did I miss this thread? Other Penrith Supporters will laud Gus Gould for what he’s done for this club, but one mistake I’ll never forgive Gould for is giving Ivan Cleary the arse at the end of the 2015 season. Absolutely shocking decision.

    Des looking shaky at Manly

But as I posted earlier; would these seven players still have boycotted the game even with proper and timely consultation? Pretty certain they still would have done. Once again religious shit f*ckery overrides contractual employment obligations.

    Des looking shaky at Manly

I think that most of the blame for the loss of that game against the Roosters during pride round needs to fall on the seven players who boycotted the game. I mean everyone’s whinging about “notice” and “consultation” from the club itself, but at the end of the day would they have still declined...

    Des looking shaky at Manly

Should have held on to Hasler. Shame on Manly! Hardly Des fault that 7 God botherers in the squad chose to boycott a vital game putting their club’s season in jeopardy all because they thought their Sky Daddy would be offended by them wearing a jersey with an innocuous bit of rainbow trimming…

    Opinion Penrith

How do you know? And if by “acting silly” you mean, referring to a club who are your bitter rivals and whom you’ve just handed their arses too in a Grand Final as “Your sons”, referring to a white guy who happens to be your team mate as “My N*gga” on Social Media, reaffirming the aforementioned...

    Opinion Penrith

Booze bans are the current trend in sports. Look at Munster and how much he’s improved since he gave away the piss. But that’s not to say that League players back in the early 90’s were any less committed, it was just a different generation. Even smoking durries was socially acceptable. (We...

    Opinion Penrith

The 90/91 Season finally earned us the respect we deserved as a Rugby League Club. We went out 2nd best in 1990, but even Mark Geyer admitted that it was because of the pre-Grand Final piss ups and disrespecting how dangerous the Raiders were as a team. By 1991, we had learned our lesson and...

    Opinion Penrith

Yeah, and am sure every Premiership winning club has simply been angelic during their post Grand Final piss ups. Pull your head out of your arse!

    Opinion Penrith

Let’s see, they’ve been on the piss all night with zero sleep (after celebrating the fact that they’ve done something for this club that’s never been done in our history - back to back premierships) - as is their right, and you and Kent want to take issue with innocuous shit they’ve said and...

    2022-23 off-season incidents

There’s a word filter in this forum genius. I wouldn’t overthink that one too much…

    2022-23 off-season incidents

Lol! Has been on the piss all night (and rightfully so - first time we’ve won back to back premierships in the club’s history) and Romey refers to his white Anglo-Saxon/Celtic team mate as “My n*gga” on Insta, and you believe this constitutes an off-season incident? Lol!

    2022 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 28-12 Parramatta @ Accor

So he played two seasons for them Ok, I stand corrected. And? How does that change his motivation for playing for them?

    2022 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 28-12 Parramatta @ Accor

Oh FFS, he played 1 season for them. Do you think it might have been because he lost his Brother in a car accident and needed a sea change for the psychological scarring?

    2022 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 28-12 Parramatta @ Accor

Well, one of those tries (Gutherson’s) was off a forward pass, but then again, how very Parra like.

    2022 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 28-12 Parramatta @ Accor

Gotta give ‘em a consolation try I guess, even if it was off a forward pass

Meanwhile, training over at Parra seems to be progressing well:
