Lebanon might have the most promise after this World Cup.

They were even mentioned/recognised by the united nations a few years ago for the work they were doing in Lebanon and the surrounds. There should still be links here at LU. But, RL isn't a sport according to some powers even though the UN specifically mentioned it and the work the Lebanese have...

Lebanon might have the most promise after this World Cup.

They already have a local comp and have done for a decade or more, it's sponsored by the Bank of Beirut. They have played games against Palestinian refugees in the camps, Egypt, the Saudi's iirc and a few other neighbours.

The troll Dump thread *insert cool name here*

Bah who cares, the bloke ya talking to only comes out of his cave whenever the RLWC is on to talk and argue about union. It's been clockwork for the last 3.

    Wold Cup Legacy

Any profits spend at least 3rd of it on development officers and send them abroad like mormons. Mostly on tier 2 and developing nations. Another 3rd on fixing up the admin side and the running of the game in these places and keep the rest and build it or use it for promotion. Dunno really, it's...

All Blacks v Kangaroos - $50 million match

Everyone in the world with a functioning brain knows your fitness needs to step way up when coming from Union to League, well that is almost everyone. Just the running back and forth 10 metres kills the lungs in the first 5 minutes if you are not USED to it. Any idiot can see that. Just arguing...

All Blacks v Kangaroos - $50 million match

What about the parts of the game not involving scrums, line outs and such, what do they do then?

USA ...embarrassment in RL world cup

Shows how far they have come when you consider I watched them about 15 years ago in Goulburn and they lost by near 100 and didn't even look like scoring against a pub team.

USA ...embarrassment in RL world cup

USA should have been playing against Wales and Scotland/Samoa by the looks of it, they'd have gone a hellave lot better. But in saying that, if you wanna learn about Proper Rugby League haha, well I guess PNG is the place the send them. They'll never forget the experience.

USA ...embarrassment in RL world cup

People whinged when they used blowins last time and they are whinging again now that they used their own amateurs. Typical of the RL fan base.

RL is a drug, just as you are getting bored, it drags you back in with something like that. What a game.

Top Loader vs Front Loader Washing Machines

Agree about the room you save, I put the drier on top of the wm and moved the fridge into the laundry. Saved heaps of room in the dinning/kitchen area.

Top Loader vs Front Loader Washing Machines

Got an Aqualtis (Ariston)front loader earlier in the year, 1st front loaded machine I have used. Never going back to the top loader now, it does everything so much better. . I probably use about 4 times less water and washing powder than I ever have. Highly recommend front loader washing machines..

Just how bad are wales ?.

Pity USA didn't get a the group with Wales and Scotland, they quite possibly could have had a few wins. They have impressed me with their local players.
