    So at the end of the group stages we've had 12 games between northern hemisphere teams and Southern Hemisphere. SH has 11 wins and a draw and the for and against is 538-54. So it's pretty close..

    You could play for any of them except Australia unless you did so before you went to France. What's more you could swap between any of them as many times as you like except between Australia and England and as long as you did so within the rules or got dispensation.

    If it's played over one weekend it's hardly going to matter. I don't see why it would be any longer than that. If anything, the nines in Brisbane, say, followed by Lions 3-5 Lions tests is a pretty good spring schedule.
