    Kiwis Squad

Unfortunately, 10-20 points loss to Oz. Oz won't be the same without Smith, Thurston and Cronk, but still very formidable forwards with pace to burn from 1 to 23.

    Kiwis V Oz

Any vibes/news about how this test match is selling? Only two weeks away. I have this terrible feeling that the world cup hangover and lack of real promotion is going to see it be a very disappointing crowd, which the NZRL really doesn't need. Was thinking of going up to it myself but in the...

    2018 Crowd Watch

I've been to 3 GF's since 2011. Flown from NZ to attend. But I wouldn't cross the road to see this one. Could not care less who wins. There is no chance of this one selling out, as I am sure there are many people who say the same. I haven't missed watching a GF since the superleague year where I...

    2019 team line up

Ken has one bad game after being bloody good all year and everyone wants to crucify him. Wake up guys. The reason we did so good this year is because Ken did the job of our forwards and gave them energy to compete. This was a team effort and SK had a plan and it worked. But next year, he needs a...

    3-2-1 v Panthers

People are venting because we lost. There were 4 mistakes with the warriors, which isn't bad really. Just Penrith had Maloney (and Cleary) who took advantage of the errors and played classic finals footy. Up till the first of Kata's mistakes, I thought we had Penrith's measure. The four...

    2018 Crowd Watch

In Auckland, RL still does OK. But in the rest of the Country, just about open hostility to the game except for the occasional pocket. AB's game will cane the Warriors for ratings, ab out 3 or 4 to 1. And I am not a troll but absolute RL supporter through and through, but that is just a fact.

    2018 Crowd Watch

I recall going to a finals match at the SFS which was Warriors v Canberra. It was a while ago, as Wiki was still playing for Canberra and Stacey kicked the field goal to win it, but there was 33,000 there and if I said 500 were cheering for Canberra, it would have been an exaggeration. The kiwis...

    2018 Crowd Watch

Its not just the media that bag Roosters fans...actually I need to redefine that statement, there are very few actual roosters fans to bag,...I personally also bag the Roosters CLUB for having no fans. Not any that turn up to regular season games with any regularity

    2018 Crowd Watch

Don't want to raise the old chestnut, as consistently they beat us, but AFL v League in Sydney, "head to head" with the Swans/GWS and Roosters v Sharks. Given that Roosters have no supporters and nobody admits to following the sharks, it could be embarrassing.

    3-2-1 vs Raiders

    3. The Refs 2. Paasi 1. Lino Fair dink, warriors got the rub beyond question. Canberra stitched all season

    Team v Canberra

I'd suggest the game plan will be to move the ball with this pack. Canberra are huge. NO way they will outmuscle them.

First competition of the year. Where will we finish?

Can't see Panthers beating Storm so they are likely going to be 8th if Warriors win or 7th if Warriors lose. Dragons SHOULD beat Newcastle but god knows with them. Brisbane SHOULD beat Manly The Sharks could very well lose to Bulldogs but have a big for and against advantage so see them...

    Team v Canberra

I will read the team will interest this week. Our attack looked outstanding this week. No doubt Hiku is the better attacking player and Beale the better defender. But with Harris back, we have solid insides to secure our edge defence (on both sides actually) and Mannering is definitely better at...

    Old 1970's scrum Rules

So when we kicked for touch from a penalty, there was a scrum? I started playing in 1971 or 72 (was only 5) but I don't remember that!

    Old 1970's scrum Rules

Having a debate at work regarding scrums. I know there were different rules in the 70's as to attacking team, error etc as to who got the head and who got the feed. I remember playing under them as a school kid but cannot remember how the rules worked. Anyone?

    3-2-1 vs Bulldogs

I thought the Bulldogs had their game plan right when they muscled up to stop the outside backs of the warriors doing the forwards work. Green realised it was failing and started getting there so the backs could return it wider than the A defender where the Bulldogs were waiting. At least they...

    Team v Bulldogs

This particular thread gets a bit boring as Kearney is as predictable in his selections as any coach in the history of the world. Barring injury, I reckon I could just about name the side for the start of the comp next year with 99% accuracy!

    Team v Dragons

Absolutely no excuses this week. Been waiting months for this team.
