Broncos tickets have slowed. Probably because cheapest tickets on level 7 are $100 for a family of four.

Not sure restricted or standing room will go on sale.

Lowering my prediction to 46,000. Will look again on Saturday afternoon.

Has anyone an indication on the Roosters v Sharks game numbers?
Surely we can get close to 25,000 to a unique, rather than just an NRL weekly club match.
If Shark's fans (according to the media) are buying about 60% of the tickets, what's going on with this 2:1 ratio?

If sharks fans make up 60% of the crowd, it will be a sell out. It won't be a sell out and it is just the media, as usual, trying to bag roosters fans.

Below is the crowd figure for every week 1 final we have hosted in the NRL era

1999 VS Bulldogs - 23,478
2000 VS Parra - 21,377
2002 VS Sharks - 25,366
2003 VS Knights - 23,853
2004 VS Raiders - 18,325
2008 VS Broncos - 18,343
2010 VS Tigers - 33,315*
2013 VS Manly - 32,747**
2014 VS Penrith - 23,449
2015 VS Storm - 20,521
2017 VS Broncos - 21,212

* Not hosted by us but still at SFS
** Double header

I Wasn't at the first 2 so can't comment on them but I was at all the others and with the exception of 2010 and the DH we haven't come remotely close to being outnumbered by opposition fans.

It is pretty clear to see we generally get 16-18k roosters fans for a week 1 home final and I don't expect that to be any different this week. I am hoping the game gets over 30k.

Got my warriors tickets yesterday pax of 12203. I’ve convinced a large group to go so hopefully many others do the same. Warriors supporters area sold out really early so we probably need more space

Based on the above,I'd be disappointed with a crowd under 20,000.Especially having the two lowest crowds under 20,000,involved out of Sydney teams.
Which brings me to Pax numbers so far?

The ANZ game and to a lesser extent the SFS games are hard to predict on PAX.

There is no danger of either selling out and you will be able to get decent tickets at the gate on the day.

It’s true prices are very reasonable at anz very doable for families. Should be plenty of warriors support there. I was at anz for the dogs game and there were probably 40% warriors fans we become a bandwagon club in Sydney when we do well.

I found it bizarre that the Warriors were only given half a bay for their supporters area. Penrith have been allocated 2 and a half bays for theirs.

Its not just the media that bag Roosters fans...actually I need to redefine that statement, there are very few actual roosters fans to bag,...I personally also bag the Roosters CLUB for having no fans. Not any that turn up to regular season games with any regularity

blah blah blah

Our crowd averages over the NRL era are in line with most NRL clubs.

This year we finished above 3 Sydney teams and within 1,000 of 2 others.

The problem is you comment confirmed what they were saying when you were trying to disprove it.

No it didn't

We have crowd averages in line with all the other Sydney teams. That was my point and that's a fact

It fluctuates year to year based on form and scheduling. This year is a little disappointing but scheduling wasn't the most user friendly.

So your argument for saying that the Minor Premiership winning Roosters crowds aren't terrible, is the fact you beat Parra (Finished last), Manly (Finished second last) and Cronulla (who play out of a tiny enclave in southern Sydney)? That is some evidence supporting your argument, well done! Roosters should be congratulated on their crowds.

Just bought 8 tickets in Rooster GA and PAX was 15,225. Doesn’t sound great.

Sharks reserved was sold out and Roosters limited availability.

Hopefully a surge in sales tomorrow but I doubt it. Rain scheduled too which won’t help.
