    That would be fine IF there was any likelihood of that changing or the make up of the teams were different. You may as well lock in Penrith, Roosters or Melbourne for the next 100 years hence why this idea of 20 teams is so f******* stupid and will come back to bite the ARLC in a big way

    Good luck getting close to the fumblers deal in any case - News Limited will make sure of it. Just do what’s best for the game. I would argue for less teams not more at this point in time

    Well how many is too many? You could say a few will fall back but they are not the only ones. You could say a few regional teams should go because they are no chance of winning a comp.

    Yeah I don’t think they would implement a draft and it has problems. You can’t cheat a draft though which is its big benefit. It would be ideal for one body to be looking at junior development rather than clubs but that will never happen either. I’d prefer the removal of the salary cap at this...

    It won’t work mainly because we kind of have it now (at least for the NSW clubs) You either have a competition which is regulated or you have a laissez faire approach. A salary cap doesn’t work in isolation mainly because it is impossible to regulate and easy to cheat and been proven such over...

    They wouldn’t be playing against each other in this competition would they. I am not sure you actually understand the argument. If there were a 8-10 team premier league, then it would be very unlikely you would be seeing 50 point floggings.
