    If the ball was bobbling along the ground I would agree with you. But if you look at the replay, it takes such a nice favourable bounce - even I could have scored! Sterlo makes the same point when Gould stops talking for a moment.

    How about the fact that each of those losses were in stupid alternate jerseys. In other words, they were away games to top teams at THEIR ground. The one home game we had against a top 4 side...we won.

    No quite sure why everyone is so upset. He says that there are some really good players in ISP who are ready to play first grade but havent had a chance yet because the first team has been healthy and no suspensions.

    Because of recency bias. In the last four games, we have scored 10, 25, 2, 16 points respectively. Since they are the most recent results you are weighting them too heavily. Previous to those games we were averaging approximately 30 points per game. That's pretty impressive.
