    The Thursday & Friday 6pm slots don’t seem to affect crowds quite as much as they used to, no idea if that stats back that up but I’d imagine they would. Probably makes sense, less people seem to be working M-F 9-5 and more work from home.

    Townsville Blackhawks run Cyril Connell & Mal Meninga Cup teams, same as all the other QCup teams except PNG. Wide Bay Bulls run in both as well but not QCup. I don’t see why PNG Hunters couldn’t run teams in both, not sure if they’ve ever applied. Would only be 4-5 games in PNG for each...

    I believe they’ve already started pumping money in to the pathways in PNG itself. They will need to start integrating their best juniors in to the Australian comps sooner rather than later though. All those comps except Flegg are only short so shouldn’t be impossible to get a couple teams up...

    Yehp. 2 NRL teams go over. Premiers play WCC, other clubs plays one of the big English/French clubs. Week later, same weekend as Vegas the 2 NRL clubs play in London, Manchester or wherever, probably with a SL game as a double header.

    Nah, should be aiming for at least 25k. NRL seems to have had the WA Government coming to them during the process so at the least you’d hope they’ve negotiated a new Western stand with improved corporates.
