Is Steve Price the best front rower in the world?

Some certain individuals (happen to be from the Warriors forum) believe Steve Price is the best front rower in the world. I reckon they're biased Warriors supporters (of which I am one), so I'd like to know what the league community thinks. For what it's worth, I'd rate both Asotasi and Bailey...

Wiki and Price- an outrageous comment

League fans in Australia have Foxtel, so they get to see every game. If you're going to use the 'free to air tv' as and excuse for Australians not rating Price as the No. 1 prop in the world, then I could say that Kiwis don't get a fair assesmant of the likes of Asotasi and Bailey, because...

Wiki and Price- an outrageous comment

I'd rate Bailey no. 2 in the world. Kite actually played well in the Tri Nations last year. O'Meley is overated in my opinion.

    On The Road

I agree, but also believe we could turn up to play and still get beat in both games.

    Players on Report

Hey, I wouldn't put it past some of them. Guys like Toovey, Ron Palmer etc, pretty sneaky characters at the best of times.

Wiki and Price- an outrageous comment

It's very easy for Warriors supporters to suggest that he's 'the best prop in the world'. Why doesn't someone stick a pole up in the NRL forum, and we'll get a more balanced assesment. I'd suggest that the majority would dissagree. Personally, I'd have Asotasi ahead of him.

I think you're very much underating Manly.

    When Losing Hurts

As a fan, would you rather your team make the Grand Final and lose it, or get knocked out in a semi-final, and not have to suffer the pain of Grand Final defeat?

Wiki and Price- an outrageous comment

If he was the best prop in the world, he'd be a regular in the Kangaroos side.

    Players on Report

And I'm saying to you, if it becomes standard practise that if a player gets carried off on a medicab, the offending player must also be sent from the field, players/trainers will be bringing medicabs out left right and centre, ala soccer. Teams do anything to win, and if faking a serious...

Wiki and Price- an outrageous comment

Can't agree I'm afraid. I think Wiki's influence on the club is as great (if not greater) than Price's. I thought he (Wiki) was outstanding last year, but Price thoroughly deserved his Player of the Year award. Wiki has been solid without being outstanding in his opening two games this year...

    Players on Report

We'll end up with soccer, players will be diving left right and centre. Injuries are part of the game. League is tough, pysical sport, you've just got to deal with what comes your way. To use a famous quote from one of our Union counterparts, 'we ain't playing tiddley winks ref'.

    Players on Report

So therefore you wan't players punished by the extent of what the injury they have incurred on the player they have commited the crime? In that case a lot of players won't be able to get punished until MRI scans have been taken etc etc. Also as I suggested earlier, lesser players will fake...

    Bashing those blundering Brisbane Broncos

We tested everyone we played last year. We're asking for a little bit more this year, we'd like beat most of our opposition this year.

    Players on Report

But lets be fair, SBW's tackle was pretty lame. We've seen at least a dozen tackles the same or worse in round 2 and they've been put on report at worst. Just because SBW hit the sweet spot on Johns's head means he gets sent off. Where's the consistancy there?

    Players on Report

More often than not, I believe they are accidental (usually they're just careless). Who's a ref to say whether a player tackled someone high intentionally or accidentally. You just can't do it. Shall we wheel out lie detector machine?

    NSW Fullback - Kurt Gidley?

Is McKinnon available for City or Country? And who is in his way as far as selection goes for whichever particular side he is available for?

    On The Road

Two very though away games for the boys. Personally I'd be happy if they came away with one win out the two games (I don't care which one). Two wins would be absolutely fantastic and no wins would be a dissapointing way to head back to Mt Smart.

    Bashing those blundering Brisbane Broncos

Certainly the East, South stands, and North bank were more populated yesterday than the Eels game. Personally I thought there were a few more in the West stand too, but we'll never know.

    Bashing those blundering Brisbane Broncos

As did I. Not as many people sit in the West stand now. They've moved them over to the East stand to make it look good for TV. Still a could crowd though.
