    hi there this is finchys son, suttors mum or whoever else you like to call me (but correctly my names james) when i agree with the decisions of the refs becuase there correct and yous are wrong here well i must agree tonight officiating is a disgrace. It has wrecked the game. What happened to...

    Two refs is working well

    For those that requested it: A scrum has been SET once all players have bound correctly and are locked together. It has been unpacked the moment a player moves from the 'set' position i.e is no longer locked in and has his neck and back parallel to the ground as such. Hope this clears up some...

    09 :: R11 Fri :: Rabbitohs 16-16 Eels @ ANZ

    either way a correct or incorrect decison (in this case correct) we should leave it and move on...we dont criticize player for missing a field goal that could win the game so why criticize a ref for a wrong decision (lets leave the clark case out of discussion for this one). they dont...

    i am not a parra fan and am a referee and have the same opinion. This rule has been discussed at meetings and im overly confident finchys opinion will be the same as mine. Yes Suttor may not have the best games but this decision was correct.

    and again refs as important as the game......well does the game go on without a referee????? i think not.......refs and players are equally important.

    Two refs is working well

    not sure what issue where blaming people here for atm but if its the state of the game there are several factors: the rules/managment/media/commentators/ and if you want the players and referees...although i think managment is to blame more than anything

    Two refs is working well

    correct 'game breaker' and they may have a different opinion to me, you or another person so we are never going to have everyone happy with a decison, remembering we make ours after countless replays the ref after a split second. Again they are human and make mistakes, i think its time we gave...

    Two refs is working well

    This is were the problem lies. A rule that ISNT black and white to police. Therefor blame the NRL for making the stupid rule in the first place not the referees who are just there to inforce them as such not make them.

    Two refs is working well

    Time was blown back on as as per the NEW NRL rule this season that when players pack a scrum and time is called off the minute they unpack time is to be called back on. As could be seen the Souths forwards unpacks..so time back on...is it that hard? seems pretty black and white if you read the...

    Two refs is working well

    yes have to agree with Oz Jet...Scrums these day are a waste...we may as well go the same was as Mod and Mini footy and just have a handover...lets bring back proper scrums.

    Two refs is working well

    indeed Brett Suttor was CORRECT in his rulings. The Souths players did not remain packed therefor time blown back on, then as per page 16 of the ARL 2009 Laws of the games "If a scrum has been set and fed before time expires play shall continue until a player in possession is tackled or the ball...

    09 :: R11 Fri :: Rabbitohs 16-16 Eels @ ANZ

    i am not Ms Suttor. i am a referee and a great fan of the game who reads the rule book and keeps up to date on rules to make correct decisions. Indeed it is the new rule the NRL brought in this year. for time to be stopped at a scrum the scrum must be packed and players must REMAIN packed for...
