    I have been told from Samsung Rep, Panasonic Rep, Todd's HiFi (TV Specialist in QLD) that Burn-in / Sreen Retention is something that still happens. So when you have these guys telling you that and then you come on forums and ask and people say no it doesnt, it kind makes you go WTF is going on...

    Thats good to hear then. I would have put anything on 9 hours of viewing a solid static logo would stuff it up. Tell me, if you view this logo 9 hours on saturday every week for say 26 weeks, will that hurt? Like make that area of the screen worse then the rest?

    Dont know much about Rear Projection sets but I am sure 9 hours of super saturday will burn in. If you keep viewing the same content week after week (Every Saturday) it will happen.
