    Round 12 - Rabbitohs vs Eels: Friday 19th May 8pm @Allianz Stadium

How good was it to be back at the SFS, respective of the result which unfortunately did not go our way. Homebush isn't even 1/2 as good as the SFS...

    2023 Rabbitohs Membership

Good post mate, some truths in there. I'm just frustrated and disappointed like most of the people I know who regularly attend games that after all this time we're still stuck at that stadium. Like ok one thing the NRL and clubs always harp on about for those like myself or you who attend 90%...

    2023 Rabbitohs Membership

Agree there would have been at least 2 more games at ANZ. I don't count the away game against the Dogs as that is not our home game and we've just shoved into a corner on Level 4 east. Also the way the club is excited at playing games at venues like Dubbo/Mudgee. Give it a rest, they're high...

    The Game 2023 NRL draw

Rabbitohs got shafted hard in this deal. 8 games at ANZ, rest away from Sydney. Doubt that after 10yrs I’ll be renewing my season ticketed membership.

    2023 Rabbitohs Membership

Has anybody seen the 2023 membership packages? I just read the email and think we got shafted in the worst possible way. - 8 Games at ACCOR/ANZ Stadium. - Remainder of our games in QLD and Perth. Like seriously..........WTF On top of that we will undoubtedly be shafted again and have a whole...

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

Weather should be good. 0-3mm @ only 50% chance rain is actually nothing. It really pisses me off how Ticketek allocates these seats. I ended up getting cat 1 seats in Aisle 106 which is right next to the Penrith fans. Yeaterday evening Aisles 107 and 108 were available, like WTF…

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

Maybe 60K isn’t out of the question then.

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

Somebody explain something to me about the SFS. Apparently capacity is 42.5K. Yesterday at the game it looked like there was a bit less people there than the week before when Souths played the Roosters yet there was slightly more people there last night then the week before if memory servers me...

Sounds about right. Members will keep it short of 40K

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

Forget about it fellas, so long as the TV Is paying for the game crowds or game experience for the fans really isn’t that much of a priority for them. So long as it more or less looks somewhat OK on TV, NRL execs aren’t going to be fighting these battles for us. At the end of the day TV revenue...

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

That’s right, rugby league clubs do not make anywhere near enough money to pay or contribute to any stadiums so it makes no difference. All I was simply doing was throwing a few very quick solution IF the NRL/Footy Clubs really wanted to increase crowds. There are Ofcourse other ways but the 3...

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

That’s exactly right. All I’m simply saying is that bigger, newer stadiums do not attract better crowds how people sometimes think.

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

LOL I mean yeah. The NRL have a certain amount of what I’d call “premium supporters”, people like you or I. I myself have been a season ticket holder for the past 10 years and I’ll go and watch Souths play at home for most l, if not all home games all year regardless of whether they play at the...

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

Like what? What do you think they could do that would be 1 financially viable? 2 worth their time?

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

Unfortunately better stadiums don’t = better crowds. I would love to be proven wrong here but in a skeptic. I joined this forum in 2013 and to be honest we’re still debating the same old points as to why crowds are still crap. What people don’t ever talk about is the fact the NRL could EASILY...

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

It’s all good and well to say that but again…WHO’S GOING TO PAY FOR IT? People can whinge all they like but it’s a bit hard to justify blowing all that money to please a few fans who “want to be closer to the action” when there is a perfectly good stadium there already. The SFS is a beautiful...

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

I think the Tigers, Dragons, Dogs and Rabbitohs should all play the majority of their games out of either ANZ or SFS.

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

Only issue is who’s going to pay for it??? Stupid Covid munchers blew all our money on unnecessary Covid measures the last 2 years, no way they’re going to change ANZ stadium, nor should they. There’s nothing wrong with it. I think the SFS is now a beautiful ground but it really didn’t need the...

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

I agree with whoever made the comment earlier about claiming your tickets as a stadium member or your seat simply just gets sold. Im sure they do that for grand finals, why can’t they do it for finals games too. Was ugly as hell for both Souths V Roosters games to see all the empty seats on the...

    The Game 2022 Crowd Watch

Would be good but they probably won’t do that given the stadium is only half the size of ANZ. The only reason members got reciprocal rights at ANZ was because the stadium is sooo large and they’re never going to sell that out anyway for a regular season game, at least not in our lifetime anyway...
