    My view: Gutho + Val + Cook > Hunt + Lomax + Bird Plus a few young forwards with another year of development and pushing for a spot (Couchmen et al) ‘25 Dragons is an upgrade on ‘24

    Interesting the consensus seems to be Atkinson > Ilias, but truth is Ilias is only 6 months older than Atkinson and has a lot more week to week FG experience. I personally would prefer Ilias as I feel like he was one of the fall guys of a toxic culture at Souths the past two seasons. No surprise...

    B-Moz aside, the last ex-Dragons to win a premiership were the group of Matt Prior, Gerard Beale, Jack Bird and Mick Ennis for the Sharks in 2016. Could also throw in Steve Price who was Flanno's assistant that year. Speaking of Price, does he remind anyone else of Nate Shelley from Ted Lasso?

    I honestly don't know how Tony Adams continues to eke out an existence as a journalist. His writing tone is juvenile, and he is out to lunch on his assessment of nearly every situation, this one included. As Flanno has said, "we move on"
