    Coach Flanno

True, QLD got belted 50-6 in game 1 of 2021 series, selectors made a number of changes and he hasn't had a look-in since

    Coach Flanno

Despite the disappointing position on the ladder in 2023, I'm actually optimistic about an improved position in 2024 even if it is with the same roster. Of 23 games played so far this season, we have won 5 and been beaten by 10 points or less in 10 other games. That's 15 games that we've been...

If only Reece Robson had stuck around, he may well have received an opportunity in the top grade this weekend.

    Round 19 vs Canberra

I quoted this a number of weeks back in another thread. On the weekend VS Sharks, they scored 22 points to nil during Mbye's 23 minutes on the field. I really hope we run an extra forward off the bench VS Raiders

    SpoonWatch 2023

This season is the worst competition since I have been a cognisant supporter of rugby league. Two near record defeats in one round; I’m pretty much done

Hunt has asked for a release

Exactly. Good to see you've been taking some of the same stuff i have

Hunt has asked for a release

Everything at the club is off the chart this season

Hunt has asked for a release

What if the whole thing was orchestrated by Flanno and Hunt to pressure the board and management to get active in the player transfer market?

Hunt has asked for a release

In terms of player welfare, at the end of the day Ben Hunt is not a prisoner. He does not need a release from his Dragons contract if he wants to leave Wollongong to return to QLD and be closer to family. He is free to go home and get a job that is not rugby league.

Hunt has asked for a release

I’m getting real sick of looking at Ben Hunt’s head

    Coach Flanno

Speaking of periods when we had options, remember when we let a young Hooker go to the cowboys because we had Cam McInnes then we lost him because we signed McCullough. I wonder how that young Hooker has been going at the cowboys.

Hunt has asked for a release

Bit of a twist in the Holbrook sacking with Big Mal saying he was blindsided by it and "I don’t envisage being part of the club moving forward". If true, I wonder how Hunt feels about the Titans front office being such a basket case, considering Meninga would undoubtedly have had some strong...

    Coach Flanno

I'm still surprised with the reaction to Flanagan's appointment considering how little fanfare there was when the Dogs signed a legitimate drug cheat in Bronson Xerri

    Coach Flanno

I have always thought 6. Sullivan, 7. Hunt, 14. Amone is the best makeup if Hunt is not moved to 9. Gives a lot of options to cover injuries anywhere in the backline plus hooker or lock. I also think Amone has had good impact in the games he been named to come off the bench.

Ryles it is NOT - Rejects Dragons

I'm excited by the Flanagan bit of this article. I'm not excited by anything else in rugby league at the moment.

Isn't Shane Richardson still engaged to lead the Firehawks 18th team bid?

Ryles it is NOT - Rejects Dragons

Been thinking about the yesterday's events and wondering whether the Dragons asked both Ryles and St George Bank to allow the news to be released yesterday. Seems too perfect to be a coincidence. By the time all the Origin fanfare has died down, both stories will be forgotten and we'll be onto...

Ryles it is NOT - Rejects Dragons

I read somewhere yesterday that there were performance triggers in year 3 & 4, so perhaps Ryles was concerned about that? If this is true, i give some credit to Webb and co for not compromising. However, i still suspect the Dragons were being used as leverage for a better deal at the Storm. It...

Ryles it is NOT - Rejects Dragons

Let’s face it, Mimis played the Dragons like a fiddle. The Storm offer was always there and the Red V was simply leverage to get his client the best deal. Gus knew it. Uncle Nick knew it. I just hope our board wasn’t completely blindsided by it, but in all likelihood they probably were.
