    Not quite true. Victoria has a higher population than Queensland. NSW and Queensland together is ~ 50% of Australia's population, though.

    Souths Magpies, to be more accurate. The flood of quality players that joined the Raiders after Mal's signing was incredible - Steve (Norths) and Kevin Walters (Ipswich), Peter Jackson and Gary Belcher (also Souths).

    I wouldn't say we have a stand out 1, 7 or 9. Milne will be challenged by Dugan this year, Herbert is still establishing himself and there will be an interesting battle between Flanagan and Buttris for the 9 jersey. Campese, well, I hope he has as a good a year this year as he did last!

    That picture doesn't look right. There should be at least 100 people wandering around aimlessly around the fence of the stadium. Plus they chose the angle carefully to avoid getting any of the government buildings around it in shot.
