Yeah i agree mate, the roosters player was on his back and his next move would have been to get up and play the ball, the tackle was well completed. I actually don't think it was cynical from Mannering just a brain explosion.

Paul Simpkins - an absolute disgrace

In all fairness Mckinnon probablly needed to be binned for dissent after that try but all Mckinnons theatrics aside it was an abysmal decision by Simpkins. To allow himself to get tied up in a personal conflict and then send a player off for a unrelated incident is inexcusable. Sure send him off...

    Wade Mckinnon

All Mckinnon's theatrics aside it was an abysmal decision by Simpkins. To allow himself to get tied up in a personal conflict and then send a player off for a unrelated incident is inexcusable. Sure send him off for dissent if you think its approprite but to send him for an obvious square up...

    Team V Sharks

ffs that development club quote is the biggest cop out in rugby league, when have we not been a development club in our 11 year history, all that says to me is that there are always a bunch of players who are not quite there. We for sure must have the lowest rate of players who are selected...

FFS He Has Done It Again

Show him the door, seriously. He's possibly my favorite player when he is on the field and IMO the last lingering memory of the type of game the Warriors had when they made the GF, but he obviously has an ego that is far beyond what it should be for a player who just this past weekend could...

Turn it up - Dale Budge

Bit of a difference there mate, Stacey wasn't a product of the Warriors system; he made his debut in their inaugural year, which means point chev brought him through. Benji however was a product of the tigers system coming through Keebra and playing a little prem league etc. The warriors in...

    calories...losing weight etc

I haven't read through all 4 pages of posts in this thread so excuse me if I repeat what somebody has already said. Forget calorie counting and exact meal plans and just get a basic nutritional info. Forget exact heart rates, sets reps etc just get basic training guidelines and leave it at...

    What a Game!

Well done, great effort to take the game in extra time after the dogs were 16-0 down and having those players back up from origin I agree about the draw.

    New Signing - Aidan Kirk

The Warriors history has been scattered with these types "bargain buy" players like Death, Mears, Fein and co. who seem to be great value for money because they have a solid foundation of skills and temprement and that compared to a kiwi kid who comes in and makes a basket load of handling...

Who's coming to my joint for a celebratory barbie and p!ss up?

All those inconsistencies in performances prove to me that he has the mental application on the footy field as a 3yr old and he has never developed his mental game from when he made his debut. I certainly dont think that is all his doing though, the club must really look at their development...

    hohaia to tigers??????????

I don't think he will play alongside Benji at all well. Prince softens benji's desire to continually attack will some good long kicks and some sensible tacticle decisions. He seems to have the ability to take the game away from benji when things arn't going his way and settles things down...

    Unchanged 17

http://www.warriors.co.nz/ Vodafone Warriors head coach Ivan Cleary had little hesitation today settling on the same 17 players for his side’s NRL encounter with the Bulldogs at Ericsson Stadium on Sunday. The only slight change comes in the starting combination. While Jerome Ropati, a late...

    Rua Tipoki

If he is 31, then you are probably right, he is too old. Here are is an article and a profile from the Auckland Blues that says he is 27 although i saw that Harbour one that said he was 31 so im not sure which one to believe. http://www.theblues.co.nz/player/profile.html?playerid=804700

Disagree totally, i think centre position is the easiest to make a transition into and i think a 3yr contract at the age of 27 is not pushing him too far. IMO it would be easier for a quality super 12 centre to step up to the NRL level after a full offseason than a Bartercard cup centre.

Little bit out of left field, but I guess the with results on the park being very average the current Admin cant leave any stone unturned. Following his suspension of 16 weeks and his current indecision about his playing future SHOULD THE WARRIORS LOOK AT HIM as a replacement for the...
