for the upcoming game against basel

Goalkeepers: 12 Alberto Fontana, 1 Francesco Toldo

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 38 Paolo Hernan Dellafiore, 16 Giuseppe Favalli, 23 Marco Materazzi, 11 Sinisa Mihajlovic, 26 Giovanni Pasquale, 4 Javier Zanetti, 13 Zé Maria

Midfielders: 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 8 Edgar Davids, 5 Emre Belozoglu, 21 Giorgos Karagounis, 25 Dejan Stankovic, 14 Juan Sebastian Veron

Strikers: 10 Adriano, 9 Julio Ricardo Cruz, 20 Alvaro Recoba, 22 Nicola Ventola, 83 Ianis Zicu

wo

personally, i'd go for:

toldo
zanetti - matrix - cordoba - favalli
veron - davids - emre - stankovic
adriano - recoba

but i don't really know how feasible that midfield is, honestly

lots of big names missing. i've heard vdm won't be playing as he's expected to go back to ajax, but what about martins and vieri? and is coco still injured???

Coco is supposed to be on the way out and wasn't given a squad number in the UEFA 25 man squad for the upcoming qualifyers.

I would assume Paolo Dellafiore is from the youth set-up.

Inter 1 - Basel 1 with Inter getting the vitual away goal. Stankovic and Adriano were outstanding apparently.

All Inter and Roma games are in bold, pretty favourable draw for both sides until Round 5 which I am confident Inter will win :D   ;-)

Fiorentina will be a tough one to start with - they'll be emotional considering it is their return to the top flight.

Round 5 couldn't come quick enough. A guaranteed 3 points. ;-)

Fabio Capello is already running to Moggi for more defenderss, he wants to bring in Fabio Cannavaro, Christian Panucci (sp), and Sol Campbell.

Campbell forget it, but Panucci and Cannavaro are not Europe Cup tied (neither is Campbell but he is injured).

Get lost Capello  #-o

If I was Mancini I would end this speculation by playing him against Basel in the 2nd leg.

Try Inter's website, but you probably may need a credit card to do that, other then that look around for any sports shops in Australia that sell European football jerseys.

I saw an ad once for a Perth sports shop they were selling Inter jerseys for around $125 each IIRC.

Well judging on recent Perdenti performances, I believe you could get one for about $2.

Try: www.losersrus.it. I believe they accept monopoly money. ;-)

oh wow. hybrid has finally discovered the term perdenti

i don't think roma is significant enough to have an unendearing term in italian, so i'll stick to ass roamer

so insignificant they can't even get nike or adidas to make their jerseys. lol

I knew about Perdenti long ago - did you use a translator to find out what it meant? ;-)

Looks like Emre is coming out of the closet. I shudder what to think goes on behind the scenes at Massimo's palace.

Il Massimo ed i Perdenti per sempre!
