Craig, I didnt defend the Roma fans. I actually said they were disgraceful and deserved to be given life bans.

Well the thing that interests me about the photo you posted, is how on earth they got the motor bike into the ground?

A motor bike is a huge thing and it isn't as though it is something you fold up into your pocket and walk in and pretend the sercurity staff didn't see it.

Mohame Kallon has gone to Monaco.

not when players like samuel and emerson are leaving the club. lol

it's good to see kallon go. what he did last year was simply wrong and we need to trim the squad

Halfy, you keep bringing up the Samuel and Emerson losses, but have you actually looked at who we have signed to cover them?

Both Philippe Mexes and Matteo Ferrari have joined the club and have begun pre-season training (even though their transfers have yet to be officially completed).

I'm sure that you know who they are, but Mexes is one of the best young players in Europe and he WANTED to play for Roma, ahead of the likes of Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Ferrari is probably the best young defender in Italy at the moment, and is a perfect replacement at the back. If you saw him play last season, you would know how good he is.

Both of these players aren't as good as Samuel, but the fact is, our defence next season is going to be a close second to Milan's. A backline of: Panucci---Mexes---Ferrari---Chivu is mouthwatering and you know it. :D

As for Emerson, we haven't signed anyone as a replacement as yet, although we are close to Perrotta and one of either Maresca or Blasi could join as part of the Juventus deal. Emerson, unlike Samuel, is completely replaceable and shouldnt be too much of a loss. Plus we have De Rossi just waiting to get a go.

So I think you're really stating a problem which isnt even there.

that's just what his agent made up to bump up his asking price. puhlease

Ferrari is probably the best young defender in Italy at the moment
so when he's got more experience, what top club will he be moving to? lol

you can't replace emerson and samuel and expect your team to be the same quality

Milan have Nesta, Maldini, Pirlo, Gattuso, Inzaghi and sometimes Ambrosini as starters.

That's 6 out of 11 starters who are Italian.

Who do Inter have? Toldo, Vieri and Cannavaro. That's pretty poor.
toldo, vieri, cannavaro, matrix, coco/favalli and sometimes c zanetti

that's 6 out of 11, isn't it? lol

Is that why we paid $0 for him?

No I guess you can't. Better perhaps? ;-)
We lost Zebina and Samuel in defence, yet signed Ferrari and Mexes.

Actually, I think we did want him.

But he chose Roma ahead of us not because he wanted to go to them so badly, but because he didn't think he'd get into our starting squad.

We signed him on a free transfer.

Samuel isnt replaceable - but Ferrari and Mexes is a good start. We also got rid of Zebina. I don't see you mentioning that.

What happened to Emerson being irreplaceable?

Internazionale - most foreigners out of all the top clubs in Italy.

yeah that's totally unexpected, given the team name and all that. lol

internazionale - most internationals out of all the top clubs in italy

and zebina, just another neville who's played for roma. big whoop

emerson is a world-class talent. no wonder he wants out of roma

the only world-class talent who will be playing for roma next season is someone who has been with the team all his life, and even then he would probably jump at the chance to join a world-class team if it wasn't for loyalty

I'd like to think that Milan and Juventus have more internationals than Inter. But keep deluding yourself.

Zebina was a hack, hence me laughing at us getting rid of him and replacing him with an astute defender like Ferrari, who is a proven Serie A performer.

Emerson is not world class. Why doesnt he play for Brazil then?

And there is also Cassano and Chivu who are world class talents at Roma. ;-)

I did a bit of research for you halfy:

INTER
Foreign players: 20/32 [62.5% of total squad]
Current Internationals: 17/32 [53.1% of total squad]

AC MILAN
Foreign players: 14/24 [58.3% of total squad]
Current Internationals: 15/24 [62.5% of total squad]

JUVENTUS
Foreign players: 10/24 [41.7% of total squad]
Current Internationals: 11/24 [45.8% of total squad]

AS ROMA
Foreign players: 11/26 [42.3% of total squad]
Current Internationals: 11/26 [42.3% of total squad]

So, according to the above stats:

- Inter have the most foreigners out of the top clubs (as I suggested)
- Inter do not have the most internationals out of the top clubs (as you suggested)
- Juventus and Roma have more than 50% of italian players in their squads, whilst Milan has less than 50% and Inter less than 40%.

Outlandish statements like...

It was worked out in percentages. It's because Inter have such a large squad. 62 % of Milans squad are internationals, whilst 53% of Inters squad is.

but inter still has more internationals, therefore my statement is right and not outlandish. an international is a player, not a percentage. lol

internazionale - most internationals out of all the top clubs in italy, and also more than as roma

Whatever makes you happy half.

Buy hey, I guess having more internationals is better than winning the Scudetto - something Inter can't do. :D

Right?
