Well I thought the refereeing was shocking heh, not so much the penalties against us but the lack of penalties we received when I believed we deserved it.

However I don't think that lost us the game in the end. I saw no urgency in times of need for the blues, there was no attacking flair in the last 15 odd minutes when we needed it, and I am still trying to figure out why the Blues decided they would just wait for Thurston to pass the ball, and tackle the person who receives the ball, rather than eliminating the problem from the stem. To me, it seemed like QLD played with a lot more heart than us, as much as it pains me to say it. We didn't seem to have what it takes to win the game when you are dominating.

On a side note, I wish Buderus had gone out a winner. I think he deserved it, but sometimes you can't have everything. I will miss watching him run out in blue, and I congratulate him on a wonderful Origin career!

Oh, and lastly, congratulations QLD. Wanted it more.

NSW dominated in the forwards, the defence was strong.
Hard to win when you opponets are offside and spear tackling you all night.
For some reason the ARL wanted QLD to win, they have won the last 3 series now.
Good luck selling all the tickets for the one game in Sydney next year. Why would you pay $45+ to see your team not given a fair go?
May as well watch it at home or down the pub
