Surely NSW have atleast 10 players who would have done a better job than Pearce and Anasta? Not one effective kick all night from either of them, although Pearce helped set up a QLD try or 2

Pearce, Anasta. They should have got out of the way instead of trying to play aussie rules all night.

Here it comes, wonderboys didn't sail in and save the bacon of the NSW forward pack so lets death ride 'em all the way down.

Get off. Look no further than Gallen's ill-discipline at key moments and QLDs desparate goal-line defence. Plus a dodgy forward pass call but at that point, NSW weren't going to win anyway.

Paul Gallen, what did that bloke do besides turn over possession and give away penalties... grubby prick

Pearce will only get better.
I still think there should have been at least 3 penalties to NSW down Qld end that would have gave them points or at least the chance for points.
Myles should have been sent off. THat tackle was one of the worse spear tackles I have seen.

By the way I wonder what "Cam" Smith said to the ref when he pulled him back just before halftime.

I will leave that to your imagination.

THat game had me sucked in for sooooo long and then as normal the ref decides the game, AFL must laugh at League.

No more like Craig Bellamy and the NSW selectors decided the game before the ball was kicked off.

Brett White, Mitchell Pearce, Paul Gallen. Need I go on.....

NSW didn't look like scoring in the second half and that falls on the halves

Found an interesting post from you TV TE. Did you put some money on these? You must be worth a fortune ;-)

Lol, how? He didn't set up a try, he didn't score a try, he didn't make a linebreak nor did he kick a 40/20. Having said that, he was probably NSW's best player. Unfortunately, NSW have no attacking prowess in the halves so they need a hooker with a bit more flair.

Anasta and Pearce's idea of attack: HOIST UP THE BOMB

Might work for the Roosters but it won't work for the Blues

It might have been more successful had they bombed Boyd, who had great jumpers in Hayne and Monas marking him, as opposed to bombing the human Redwood on the right...

That was a f**king terrible game. Dummy half scoots and bombs galore. f**king terrible game which was compounded by the f**king terrible ref.

I've heard in the past that you need a good front rower pack to give the Halves Room, well i think anasta and Pearce had it tonight and they were still useless.

Obviously it was terrible refereeing by Archer but I'm not sure whether we would have won the game in that second half regardless of the refereeing. NSW never really looked likely to score and if they were to score it would have to be from a kick. During the final 20, you just knew if NSW weren't going to score, something special would happen and QLD would score to win it. This is what QLD have had over us for the last few years, individual brilliance. They have the sort of individual brilliance that finds them a way to win in these circumstances. It could have been Inglis, Slater, Smith....the list goes on and on but this time it was Thurston. NSW in the end just didn't have the firepower to win the game, congrats to QLD.

Now that you mention it ...
They didn't bomb the left side once that I can recall

Good point!

LMAO!!!

Pearce and Anasta had absolutely f**kin 0 creativity tonight, countless times they could and should have run the ball, instead the kick it.....the forwards were doing a good enough job but all they did was turn the ball inside and kick ineffectively, not one set play...hopeless.
