Price deserved it. Civ conceded too many penalties/made errors early which allowed us into the game.

Anasta was very average, but Pearce was solid and deserves to be half back next year for all 3 games with Carney at 5/8.
I thought Mason was pretty decent, and for guys complaining about him not running it on 1 or 2 he is a second rower thats what you get when you play a second rower in the front row! Mark O'Meley and Brent Kite should have definantly been picked. Tupou isnt built for origin and Gallen is just SH!T.
I dont see the point in picking a great utility in Gidley and then start him at FB and waste a player of Brett Stewarts calibre on the bench it was always going to ruin their rythm when they made the swap for Buderus who is an 80 minute player anyway.
I think we lacked any real threats or 'game breakers' in the 3/4's apart from Hayne but we couldn't get the ball to him enough players like Lawrence, Gasnier(injured) and Jennings who can score or setup a try out of nothing are required in origin.
Buderus and Fitzgibbon were bother both great and probably along with Gidley NSW's best players for the night they never gave up and put 110% in there are a few in the team that should follow their example.

For the Record I though Archer was Sh!t but he isn't the reason we lost, we should have been able to win against a team without their chief playmaker for an hour!

Who gives a f**k about your sporting calendar.

You sound like like one of those little poofs that sulked off when no one would pass to you cos you were sh!t.

Harden up you cat and support your state.

It's not like Penrith is any good anyway. You should appreciate watching NSW playing out the full 80 mins, unlike the poofy Panthers.

"Oh, I just don't like cheering against Petero!!"

You sound like a androtop.

Oh yeah I sound like a androtop because I've had enough of the cheap state v state drivel in the media, the lame footy show skits about how good queensland are, the constant coke zero promotion about great origin moments. Get on with the club season ffs and restore buys before origin or put origin on a separate weekend.

The above message coming from a Saints fan, f**k off. Won f**k all since 1979  when the Dragons season is over I'm going to think specially of you :p

While I don't like how 9103 supports two teams...well 1 major and one minor..

Just for the record. I support only one team - the Penrith Panthers (20 years). The Melbourne thing doesn't really mean anything - just a little bit coz I was born in melbourne so I barrack for them if penrith is eliminated. They are the level I'd like Penrith to become if we had a decent coach.

I would have given it to Price. Thurston played well but jeez I did think Steve Price was the difference in the 2 games.

Price deserved it. Civ conceded too many penalties/made errors early which allowed us into the game.
I can't really separate the two to be honest.
Queensland looked much more vulnerable with both off the field.
Petero just kept pushing through and through right until the end.
As did Price mind you and he was very inspirational.

Price should have Queensland captaincy.

Drivel? It's the best rivalry in the game and last night showed just how much it means to the players.

 And as for having a go at the Dragons... look at the ladder and the fact your boys have been beaten (comprehensively for the most part) by the Saints for the past 2 seasons.
Penrith are a good side, but until they develop a bit of ticker they're destined for another poor year this year

I know all the above ^^^ you don't need to spell it out  You're probably right, etc etc. Had a go at dragons coz they haven't won a comp since '79, my club's won two in my lifetime.

If you lived with queenslanders, you might get sick of origin after 3 straight series wins to QLD.

First order of business for NSW is to sack the selectors. How is that they are never accountable for 3 series losses in a row?

Yes I have, I started following penrith the year i turned 7. Enough of this, ok? I'm just glad the focus is back on the NRL with full strength teams playing.

Congratulations, Queensland way too good for NSW, even without Lockyer. Now let's all get on with life.
