My thoughts:
Archer's a twit, however we lost the game for ourselves.
Gallen is a grub, a moron, and his so called aggression is merely a tendency to give away dumb penalties. He's an idiot, and an overrated one.
Anasta played crap. Thoroughly disappointed. His usually top notch kicking game was non existent. This he can be blamed for, he can't be blamed for the sh*t game plan. How the f**k is one-out running by Bellamy's favourite sh*thouse forwards going to win Origin games?
Pearce was solid, did nothing wrong, tried to put something on but couldn't crack the QLD defence. A couple of kicks came close, and made some ground taking the line on.
Mason, just as sh*t as the rest of the forwards.
In my opinion there are 3 players who I can say actually played well. Fitzgibbon, Buderus, and Gidley. Fitzgibbon in particular never stopped, shut down QLDs attack numerous times.
QLD have a gun side. We don't have the gameplan to match.

Pearce was average at best, solid, not sensational, and nowhere near Wallace's debut in game 1.

Anasta was his usual self, did nothing, gave sh*t service to the backs.

As for missing Gasnier...the one time monaghan got the ball he palmed inglis and nearly got through, cooper wasnt looking that bad either on a few runs, some decent service from the halfs would have had them looking streets better, the forwards did their job decently, but the halves lacked creativity majorly.

Ben Rogers would have looked good at halfback in Game 1 the blues forwards were that dominant. For mine Pearce tried to create far more than Wallace did, is better defensively and has been far better at NRL level.

I thought Bellamy got it all wrong by benching Stewart for Gidley. He benched the wrong player imo. Gidley was by far NSW's best player last night, he played more of a first receiver role than either Pearce or Anasta combined and when the ball was in Gidley's hands, NSW looked like doing something.

Bellamy again stuffed it by replacing Buderus to give Stewart a token run, forcing Gidley to dummy half and nullifying any attack NSW did have.

Blind man could see before the game that all Pearce and Anasta would do in QLD's 20 would be to bomb them, totally predictable from the Rooster duo. The outside backs got zero ball in attacking situations.

To top it all off, Gidley was left sitting on the bench in the final 10 minutes because NSW had used all 10 interchanges. No wonder Bellamy was hanging his head in shame after the final siren.

Stewart should've been out there far longer IMHO, but Gidley did an excellent job.

End of the day we lost but seriously, f*ck Archer. I was with a group of 10, some who hadn't been to a game of RL before and they left filthy. It's that sort of refereeing that turns people away from the game.

quinn was out of his depth. proved he only made it because he plays in a star backline.

gallen was woeful. Played the worst ive seen him in at least 3 seasons.

Hoffman was also crap.

Topou dosnt do anything. i have serious reservations about him at the sharks next year. and on such money!

Anasta was sh*te.

Pearce was average. but better than Anasta.

it was a team effort of crapola.

only Gidley, Buderus and Stewart could say they played ok.

NSW tactics were rubbish. one out, one out, one out..kick it at far superior wingers.
