For what it is worth, I actually thought Mitchell Pearce had a good game. I never really rated him, but he held his own. He was the only one that looked like doing anything in the second half.

NSW should have thrown the ball around a bit more, it took them 75mins to actually offload it and create some second phase play. That one out forward crap lost them the game in the end.

I thought Toops went ok. He made some strong runs in the second half to get NSW going forward.

For all the morons bagging Pearce, seriously have a good look at yourselves. The kids 19 and he did pretty well. Far better than Wallace.

Anasta didnt have his best game but NSW outside backs are sh*te. Missed gasnier badly and Cooper is pretty average. As for your wingers :shock:

Pearce was average at best, solid, not sensational, and nowhere near Wallace's debut in game 1.

Anasta was his usual self, did nothing, gave sh*t service to the backs.

As for missing Gasnier...the one time monaghan got the ball he palmed inglis and nearly got through, cooper wasnt looking that bad either on a few runs, some decent service from the halfs would have had them looking streets better, the forwards did their job decently, but the halves lacked creativity majorly.

There are few if any tired sub-standard players around for Stewart to be much use.

At the start of the 07 series, NSW needed to bite the bullet and make serious changes, they didn't, and still haven't and are paying the price as they should.

Winning a series in a year where 2 games were played in NSW is like a break of serve in tennis. And you betcha there is now a dynasty on your hands. Did we end up giving a game to Melb in 09 ? If not, 2 games in Qld makes 4 in a row and the bulk of our side head and shoulders above anything the blues have to offer for some time to come. Props being our only question mark once Petero and Price retire.
