Gold Coast 36 (Jordan Atkins 4, Luke Bailey, Anthony Laffranchi tries; Scott Prince 6 goals) beat North Queensland 18 (Johnathan Thurston 2, Ben Harris tries; Johnathan Thurston 3 goals)
If not for JT the Cows wouldnt have put on a point. Bad sign for them, Id be worried about losing him for any length of time if I were a NQ fan. Their ruck defence was attrocious too.
Full credit too the Tits though, they played a tremendous game and if thay can keep a fit side all year they will give the top 8 a good shake. Bailey was outstanding and along with Mini2 were IMO the best on field.
As good as the try looked,Jordan didn't actually get it down and he was out of touch also.
But as we know, home town advantages were free flowing last night.
Titans were the better team, but it would be good if the officiating was not one-sided.
I reckon if Atkins didn't get that down it could of gone close to being a penalty try as the Cowboys winger (Henry) tackled (pushed) him in mid air towards the sideline.
