i think that incident of Matt Scott was very close but you can't give the try with that much doubt.
I just feel there was a couple of frames of footage of the Atkins try where you see the ball leave his hand (there's a gap between his hand and the ball) and i thought that there was enough doubt that he got it down. Whatever, I am sure the Titans will get dudded on other occassions throughout the year so it all evens out in the end. I hate griping about refs as I generally feel that you make your own luck in regards to how harsh a ref will be towards you, I just felt Hayne was a little inconsistent in his policing of the ruck, we got pinned a few times for holding down that were probably fair enough, but when we had the ball he didn't seem to have the same consistency, because let's face it, a team like us rely on that touch footy style of play the ball because i feel that our forwards are pretty cumbersome and slow (bar Odonnell). In all honesty though, i don't think any team would have beaten the Tits on friday night, the occassion and everything and the fact they were switched on from the get go was enough to bring home the bacon, though we did play like garbage for alot of the game and they only won by 18, in reality they should have put a 26-30 margin on us considering how much ball and field position they enjoyed. Anyways, am very happy for the Titans, good to see a team from that area actually going well now, god knows it's taken 6 different names, 4 different "owners", it's awesome to see.
