On a dull day for the 'Dogs our NSW Cup side produced a great win over Penrith feeder Windsor with a 36-18 shellacking.

Parramatta's NSW Cup feeder Wenty fell short of Manly 28-24 at Brookvale.

Changed that pretty quick, must have noticed your mistake. Its ok, our secret.

He did less work then usual. Interesting. The work he did do was superb, probably saved us the game.
Agree totally. It was definitely quality, not quantity today.

Yet again Matt Utai gets shown up. Two of the tries were completely due to his lack of ability in the air, and another try came because of a poor read in defense. I just can't see how the dogs can keep him in first grade, more and more teams are going to expose him.

Seriously when the ball is kicked his way he doesn't even compete most times cause he can barely get 20cm off the ground.

Also it looks like a lot of the dogs attack is gonna rely on SBW. Despite clearly having an injury he was still they're best attacking weapon by a long shot.

Very impressed by Brett Finch, hopefully Parra wise up and leave timmy where he belongs in premier league.

Hindy was arguably your best today, without him it could of been unreachable at halftime, constantly back there to stop the tries coming.

The stuff of nightmares, felt like I was watching the 2006 Semi against the Broncos all over again.
Amazing how sh*t both teams could play in 40 mins of football. Parra were terrible in the 1st the Dogs just as bad in the 2nd.
Something seems to happen to the Dogs everytime they enter a dressing room with a halftime lead. Maybe the Dogs need to organise to play games that dont involve a halftime period, we should just play 80mins straight through.
Robinson, his VR partner in crime and the touchies made some absolutely ordinary decisions both ways and hopefully its not an indication of what we can expect from the officiating again this year.

Actually i thought it was more like the doggies v cowboys Semi in 2004, with Utai being totally hopeless under the high ball.

I saw him as a slug tbh, Cleal was our best prop forward by a mile tbh, and should take the #10 jersey next week.

mickdo - I'd rather choke at the beginning of the year tbh :p

What is the Bulldogs record in finals matches since the year 2000?

They don't seem to go so well in the 'big games' themselves...

 Nice try mate. Point or no point it was a remark, not an argument starter :p

If 15 other teams dont die a horrible death in a freak accident i cant see the Dogs lifting the premiership trophy to be completely honest.

Finch was everywhere tonight i reckon he saved atleast two tries in his defence and his attack he was on fire. I would like to see how this Halves combination goes atleast for a little bit.

Also how quick has Riddell become he looks like a back when making runs

Eels fans are unusually cocky given the fact they were smacked 20-0 in the first half :?

Both teams were as bad as each other, Parra's attack is simply far better and you figured out how to take advantage of our wingers in the second half. For that, you were the better side... but really most other teams wouldn't bend over at halftime like we did. Short of 14 other teams dying in a freak accident... I won't use that line because we all know it's Round 1 ffs...

We should be even more cocky considering we won the 2nd half 28-0 though.

I thought we were pretty shocking in the first half and you guys were pretty good but and visa versa in the 2nd but we won and your sh*t.

Dogs got up mentality for this game because its agaisnt us and they have taken all this sh*t about how they wont make the 8 this season and they almost and i mean almost fooled me into believing they were the same Bulldogs.

Its even worse that you lost a 20 point margin to be honest than if it were neck and neck the whole game.

And incidently, Doggies fans seem to be upset at the 28-0 smacking in the 2nd half, go figure. ;)
