Pfft. I know there' a long way to go. Sorry for being happy about a victory, I didn't know that October was the only time you're allowed to celebrate.

Sore losers, ffs.

Mate, go for it. That was a win to be proud of, regardless the circumstances. Some of the guys here don't like fans being happy for some reason. They probably don't show any emotion during sex either.
Enjoy reading the paper tomorrow.

Well that sucked, though after 10mins I knew we were going to lose. In saying that our first half defense was very good, considering we had virtually no possession & had to defend on our own line for long periods of time & because of all this defense we had nothing left in attack. The 2nd half WAS bad, they just ran up the middle all 2nd half & made so many metres. Except for Shrek our forwards had nothing. Anasta tried his butt off & made some great try saving tackles. Mitchell tried hard but after the 1st knock to his head certainly slowed him down a bit, then he copped another trying to stop a try, that's when Freddy took him off. Minni played well considering 1st game back & we were getting smashed. I thought Sia's defense against Mattai was good as well. So in reality there a postives to come out of the game & as Gus said, "Men playing against Boys".

Also give Manly credit they played well, exploited the weakness & inexperience around the ruck, it also showed how far ahead Manly is to Parramatta. Manly have a team that has been playing together for nearly 3 years now, there hardened & tough. Ours is a team that is very young in the forwards & has been seen not quite upto it without the likes of Mason, Toups, Fitzy & Myles.

So cheer up everyone, it's a blimp on the radar, it's how the team reacts to this & backs up next week against the Panfers that will really show us what there made of & also we hopefully will have the 4 origin boys back.

This match deserved to have Mason, Fitz, Toops, Myles, Cuthbo, Stewy and King

Both teams full strength would have been much more fulfilling.

Roosters still had a very strong side with players missing, as did Manly.

We were simply much more dominant in the early exchanges.

Quotes for the general entertainment & embarrasment of those morbid, spanner rooster fans who cant accept it when they are outplayed & lose big time to a better side.

“The Sea Eagles produced a clinical, stylish and at times sparkling win over the Sydney Roosters at Brookvale Oval.”.........Dean Ritchie Daily Telegraph
"They dominated us. They got on a roll and they played smart,"……..Braith Anasta
“MANLY 42 SYDNEY ROOSTERS 0”………..Mr Record Book
“They was no divine intervention. The Manly Sea Eagles are just miracle workers with all that they do”………..Pope Benedict
“Working families everywhere appreciate the Manly teams significant credentials in the NRL….working families, working families, working families….” Kevin Rudd
“We like the Eagles more than Labor” Brendan Nelson
“Stick that up your coit” Jimmy Barnes
“Roosters suck waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”…various disgruntled childlike roosters fans

I dont know, one early call in our favour could have impacted the whole game and could have resulted in a win to us:sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:

The ref was bat f**king useless imo. But that's not an excuse, we were even more useless, and Manly were pretty much faultless, on a wet day too. Anyone making excuses for our crap or trying to take away from Manly is kidding themselves. That said, we still have the team to win this comp over either Manly, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
