No both were pretty quiet because they hadn't had that much time to gel and both had to swallow their pride for various things.
Thurston had to shift to accommodate Prince and Prince looked more of the second receiver of the two.
I think in game III we will see a more dominant outfit because both have had time to get used to each other a bit more.

But Thurston still played pretty well,he had offloads and combined well with Hunt to get Inglis into space and kicked well.
He sure as hell didn't play bad, nobody really in that outfit played bad.

Yes Thurston's form at club level is pretty disappointing, but all of our players are not lifting their weight,so it's an internal thing at the club.
Like all players,he's in crap form but that doesn't mean he can't bounce back either...

Chris Shepard led the halves in 04 to the semis

I thought our halves were David Myles and Nathan Fien?

Shep was our first choice halfback at the start of the year but he was injured v the bulldogs. We were winning with Fien so Shep didn't make it back into the team.

Yeah Fien and Myles were the halves during the finals series.

Both sides unable to execute, if I were watching this without any information about this season it would be easy to see where these sides are on the ladder.

Lol Buderus held up? Say wut? Looked like he got it down to me, quicker than Farrar did actually  Ah well, lucky we scored in the next set.

f**k our team is flat footed. Sometimes when there are a few passes strung together some guys are just standing there as if thinking "Who me?"... need to wrap up the ball a lot better too. Buderus and Royal two noticeable stand outs so far.

It's getting so annoying when we can never put teams away. We create opportunities but we hardly ever finish them. Need to start putting teams to the sword.
