You were robbed of a try; no doubt about it. But the rest of the incidents listed were pretty much standard 50-50 decisions that go both ways every week (aside from the 4th one which, as renouf explained, was perfectly legitimate).
The better team won, btw. Things were fairly even throughout, but your lot just lacked the composure to make the most of their periods of dominance. The better team won, but it isn't simple.
We lacked composure in the final minutes mainly because we were behind when we shouldn't have been. What was most frustrating is that those 50/50's seemed to all happen when Roosters were in an attacking position. Bronco's would get a penalty or piggyback whenever they were stuck in their half.
I'm not saying the Broncos played poor, far from it. Both teams tonight were outstanding. I just feel that had the calls been a little less biased towards the Bronco's at some of those critical stages, the Roosters would have won, as in most areas of the par, e.g go-forward, danger on the fringes of the ruck, etc, Roosters looked to hae the upper hand. I will give kudos to the Broncos for their defence though. Whereas Roosters had lots of chances on the line due to our significant go-forward, we often lost composure & got nospam29. Bronco's made the most of their chances.
Good game, both teams impressed, i just feel that the result was soured due to a few specific POOR calls that really influenced the result. If you had, say, won by 12-16, it would be different, but those calls are really glaring in such a tight contest.
Nevertheless, well done.
