I agree, he is sh!t. Not worthy of playing first string in either code. However that was not the point.

Handbag harris was always a lost cause. Sporadic moments of brilliance were too sparse for yawnions or our liking. Considering the hype, he was one of the worst weve had.

Geeeeeeeeee...... hype for hype, I think Karl Johnson MUST have given him a run for his money

To suggest Archer favoured Canterbury is ridiculous. He did his best to rob both sides of opportunities in the first 40, but all in all handling was woeful from both camps.

We just couldn't get over the line in that second half and from 30-10 down it was never going to happen. Congrats Manly on a good win.

Steve Clark, I hope they decide to implement the VR in Toyota Cup or maybe even Ball or Matts 'cuz that's where you're headed. Decision on the Orford try should've been BoTD, like Crisp's was.

Watching the Orford decision it was obvious he lost control. There was no doubt to give benefit too. Fair call for Orford, Winitana and Crisp.

Hope this Helps.

Weren't Manly anchored to the bottom of the ladder during those six weeks in early 2004?

Two Words:

Jye Mullane

I suppose at least him and handbag have the honour of being one of the only 22 people in history who will ever be ARC grand final winners.

better team won, Archers errors evened out in the end
Referee rating 3/10
Video ref rating 2/10
Agreed, the better team did win, we simply jst dropped way too much ball and played some very predictable football and never looked like scoring after the first 15mins.

The ref was shocking towards both sides and made some very weird decisions, the decision against Roberts which led to manlys first try, i still dnt understand the decision, same with Orford's, in slow-mo it looks bad but in normal speed in had the to of been BOTD, which is what i was saying to everyone on the hill so i was surprised when it came back no try.

Orford's try had less doubt in it than Crisps at the end, In slow motion you could see the back foot touch the line. I think the decision was overshadowed by the amazing effort( Crisp will be a real talent).
But to suggest the ref favoured either side is unfair, e was just sh!t both ways.
The video ref was rediculous, clark has officially become clueless.
But i can agree that the worst 2 decisions was the strip on Roberts, and the no try to Orford.

Orford no try cancels out Lyons strip that lead to our first try.

30-22...would have been the score either way...

Saturday night = party. I actually stopped post right on half time, had nothing to do with the result. And you'll find I was posting all around yesterday.

Sorry my posting times didn't suit you. Skirt.
