I think most of the penrith fans think the match wasn't decided by the players on the field, but by the officials.
1. Refs call the ref must have seen the ball being held up at the end...
2. Who knows on that call but where were the penalties for penrith offside all night? and running up before the balls been played??
3.Maybe Finch's arm holding the ball didnt touch the ground ala panthers first try...
4. No he didn't Wesser let go watch the replay again and again and again also go back t your first try...
Imagine the whinging if the video ref disallowed the try from Petro, the forum would be in meltdown as opposed to being on the verge of one.
& the ref deserved to get sh*t trown at him! too bad it wasn't a full can of coke or something hard.
the funny thing was when i saw the ref, i yelled throw something at the f**kwit. & he copped something to the head.
The Parra forum would be far worse if the roles were reversed tonight.
f**k.. mad come back *claps*I'm pretty sure that it is Souths who are the joke.
the ball never touched the ground with petero. so it wasn't a double movement.
penrith were rorted!!! & that's coming from a parra fan.

1. Maybe he did, but if there was enough doubt in his mind, and the video was inconclusive, benefit of the doubt should go to the attacking team.
2. Yes Penrith were offside quite a bit, but Parra were also offside quite a lot during the game.
3. Maybe, it would have been worth checking on the video
4. I watched it a couple of times and I thought he had at least a finger tip on him the whole time
1 and 3 and 4 would all come under the same rule then if Petro's is a try you have to give Wellers try cos esser's arm did look like it came off him.. and the ref was right infront of Finch and called play on...
Even the commentators were saying how they couldnt understand why penrith didnt get a few against them for offside...
What are you on about, the ball didn't touch the ground in Petero's try, and if you think Finch wasn't you're kidding. And how Smith was a held up call rather than BOTD try I'll never know. Penrith was robbed!!!
Its the ARM carrying the ball that has to touch the ground not the ball...
The Ref was standing infront of Finch when he called play on maybe The Ball didnt touch the ground :sarcasm:..
Smith's Try could have been BOTD but the ref most probably told the video ref that he thinks its held up but just check to see if there is any evidence of the ball touching the ground..
Now if you ask Finch monday morning for his ruling i bet its bout the same as that...
