Oh ok,so what happens when Thurston gets injured or is at Rep football?
I guess our good old defensive 5/8 can do the job...

Youre proving my point with that one. They have Lockyer playing second fiddle to Wallace at the moment, when he is 100% then those roles will reverse. They won the comp with Shane Perry playing second fiddle to the dominant Lockyer in '06. We sure as hell dont need another playmaker right now.
While on the subject of the Broncos:
Matt Bowen creates infinately more opportunities than Hunt (who may as well be a prop with his creative "skills")
Thurston = Lockyer (as chief playmaker)
Payne creates more than Ennis (who is more worried about taking dives these days than playing footy)
So having a good defencive yet non-dominant 5/8 just giving Thursty good service is whats working for us at the moment.
