Queensland played well and you can't fault their performance. NSW can take ome positives out of the game. Creagh played well. Wing played well when he was on and Hayne played well all night. To be honest 10 points probably was the difference in reality and on the board.

An extremely dissapointing Origin.

Terrible reffing, some of the worst performances ever seen in a blues jersey and a QLD team that literally strolled to victory becaus eof the incompetent blues.

Don't let the last 20 minute flurry fool you... this is a shocking and poorly coached and lead NSW side.

Love hearing rabbs and the others almost pleading for people to watch the next game. Building up NSW like there was a bees dick in the scoreline.

Where are all you Newcatle Fans who said Gidley deserved to be there instead of Stewart

He deserved to be there. If you're doubting that then you're a f**king idiot. Nobody could tell he was going to f**k up like he did.

The real question is, does he deserve to be there for Origin 2?? He made some f**king terrible errors, two very costly ones.

Well, if that first try had been allowed.. it may well have been 24 all. I think that's at least one positive we can take from this, only 24 - 18.

Wing was far more effective as hooker.
For the whinging Tigers fans did and all the nudging to be in the line up Farah did he was f**king over-rated.
Ennis would have been a far better option.

Gidley lost that more than any other player.
NSW had all the momentum when he stood over the sideline when he picked the ball up.
Then the knock on.

Captain material my ass.

Good god
that was painful

our halves were rubbish, farah was terrible
giddley was terrible, lyon was terrible, mcmanus was terrible...

Campese was the best of the halves and he was f**king woeful, so that says it all tbh... Wing sparked something but at the end of the day QLD too good... NSW back to the drawing board...
Monaghan did such a superb job on Inglis in game 3 last year, it defys belief he didnt get another crack

Mullen, Monaghan, Learoyd Lahrs in...
Wallace, McManus out... Campese and Farah hold their spots by the skin of their teeth...

Gidley did it for Qld in the end.

A least NSW made a game of it, there was a point when it looked like a thrashing was on the cards. Qld were always odds-on favourites and will be again for Origin II. But NSW will take a lot from this.

Stewart is so much better than Gidley it's not funny. Even on crutches he's a better fullback.
