Well played Tigers, obviously better team on the night. I don't know why Joe Picker was left off the field for so long.

Just one of those nights eh. Coach better next week Furner.

Turning point of the game was Monaghan failing to catch the ball in the in-goal, which he wouldn't have had to do if both on-field referees had managed to catch a blatant Tigers knockon. Tigers dominated possession and field position from that point, but still needed assistance from both referees to score a try after a tackle had obviously been made.

Couldn't give a sh*t if there was one or two referees on the field. Both options produce sh*thouse results.

Who was the referee aside from big honker? How on earth he missed Tuiaki being tackled is beyond me... The Raiders should have blown up deluxe. Not to mention Heighnington knocking on into Joel Monaghan in the build up to the try before it.

I think that's a bit of a stretch bileduct. If the Raiders' one, it could just as easily say the turning point was Farah getting a very harsh call on the play the ball. Lead to back to back tries for the Raiders.

You can't blame a non-knock on call for the entire loss. The Raiders' were on the rack the entire second half.

Having said that, we did benefit from some pretty fortuitous calls. I think both teams need to and will improve a lot.

Campese is a fantastic player.

I'm not mate, that was an easy catch for Monaghan and he spilled it. And once we were pegged at that end of the field we couldn't get out. And Campese's kickoff that was put out on the full put us right back at our own end of the field again.

Great win by the Tigers. No referee decisions can outweigh the Raiders inept performance no matter how hard Raiders fans try to point the blame at them.

Two referees, and neither spotted that Farah obstructed Campese when Payten went over.
Two referees, and neither spotted the Heighington knock on in a set that led to a try.
Two referees, and neither spotted that Tuiaki was held.
Two referees, and neither spotted that Moltzen knocked on before his length of the field try.
Two referees, and neither spotted that Ellis knocked the ball out of Thurling's hand before a regather should have meant a new set of 6.

Two referees... and we're still getting screwed.

Also... there was no way that was a forward pass at the end there. Should have been a Raiders try.
