I'm taking applications for anyone who wants to play in the raiders halves...

we have three positions going..

We need 1 guy whose a tackling lock without the playing ability to play in the half back position.

We need 1 five eight who has the ability, but races out of the line and doesn't take on the line with ball in hand.

We need a second five eight- who ever is going to be this guy needs to pretend to be a half and have ample speed but nothing else.

Just as long as you can do the above and are happy to play in a team with no cohesion then you've got the job.

we need the furner's to get on their knees and apologise to robert finch for whatever they did to him.

also paying off the video refs would help aswell.

Dugan was awesome for the Raiders. Shame you can't find someone to replace Herbert. I was never comfortable about the game until that field goal, because I feared the Raiders potential, fortunately they didn't live up to it.

And now we await the usual excuses from canberra fans, the ref, injuries, the coach, the other teams coach, the bus trip up....

Yeah you can tell the Panthers are struggling with lack of troops. We are just rubbish.

Russell Smith will feel safe in Matty Elliotts arms snuggled in his bed.

1st rate F*k wit. I just want an even chance of winning the game , but we often dont see it.

i have to say as a panther fan there is no doubt Canberra got some tough calls. But can one of you tell me why you have one of the best support players in the league playing dummy half. Waterhouse was a standout for us .Tia killifi is coming along well Nathen smith was good as well

Because it worked once or twice. Never mind that its been a dud 20 other times, it just might work again. (goes off to bash head against brick wall over and over again).

Wow, I can't believe we got the rub of the green with the ref. Normally doesn't happen.
That said, I don't think it was quite as bad as some people here are claiming, ie. I've seen worse this season. I think Penrith deserved the win.

We move to 22 points. So we probably need another 4 wins from:
- Cowboys away
- Warriors at home
- Dragons at home
- Broncos away
- Rabbitohs at home
- Eels away
- Knights away

Doesn't look easy by any means, but I think we could do it, especially with the players we have coming back from injury: Civoniceva, Lewis, Pritchard, etc.

all Raider fans have been asking that question all year.

Well done Penriff..even if you took your foot off the pedal your lot still took a majority of their chances.

Can someone check and see if Russell Smith's passport has expired? Might be able to deport that motherf**ker.

Penrith were clearly the better side. Canberra copped a few dodgy decisions.

The Puletua try was clearly a no try, but why not throw it back to the ref to CALL HELD! I think a good 2 or 3 count should constitute a held up in goal.

Campese was nowhere tonight. No wonder we lost the first state of origin. He is a one game wonder.

We won the game on the back of the defence of our forward pack, and the 2 TAB boys (Blair and Tighe) actually played ok for a change.

Was f*cking awesome to see the Panthers get the rub of the green from the video referees for a change. Would have been better if the onfield referee helped us out a bit more to improve our F/A. Although as it is now, we probably got a better F/A then we should have.

Even with the rub of the green though, the Raiders should have been able to put us away comfortably by halftime. We were playing with a few wounded Panthers, and missing plenty of key players. Terry Campese didn't turn up and if he had the Raiders would have killed us.

I agree that we were the better side. But the Raiders should have still been able to beat us with ease. They played like absolute sh*t.

I was very impressed with our work, especially in defence. But the Raiders making errors certainly helped us out a bit.

I think the biggest contribution to winning was our ability to gain repeat sets. Seemed like more then half of our sets ended up with us getting the ball back (either througha dropout, 40/20 or a try).

skeepe speechless after the Raiders got dudded? Must have been a genuine dudding this time (I missed the first half, and I was switching back and forth between the second half and the Bledisloe).
