Preniers - making the rest of the posters on this forum look stupid and incompetent since 2003.

Can't wait for Inglis V Folau.

It should prove to those who say Folau is better (and theres a few people on here who thought that, a while ago there was a poll) that he isn't.

Gonna be a cracking match up.

This will be a great game.

The Storm will probably play through the middle third with their big forwards and try to exploit the Broncos ruck defence (which was lazy at times against the Cowboys). I expect Smith and Slater will also get out of dummy half a lot. The Broncos will look to play an expansive game. They have plenty of speed out wide and the likes of Lockyer, Hunt, Wallace, Michaels and Folau are good enough to get outside of Chambers, Isa, Quinn and Turner. Quinn will get plenty of bombs his way after what Folau did to him in Origin 3 last year.

I hate to say it but I think the Storm will grind this one out. It will be close but the class of Smith, Slater and Inglis should be enough to get them through it. The Storm will obviously need to be extremely disciplined as the Broncos are most dangerous when they use their set plays involving Lockyer, Wallace and Hunt about 10m out from their oppositions line.

Prediction: 18-12 to the Storm.

I honestly don't know about this one - neither team appeared to be at their best and relied on the brilliance of the halves to get over the line in both matches last Friday.

I'll take Brisbane, but it will be close.

Will be a tough game for sure. I think our defence is strong enough to keep the broncs out...the dragons only really scored from our errors and because sailor is a beast. If we learn from the round 1 i cant see us making these stupid mistakes so close to our line.

I'll take Melbourne here.
Brisbane weren't impressive on Friday - Yeah they have some speedy backs and they appear to be a bit more flamboyant with the ball but they were making plenty of simple errors....one was the team being in front of the kicker.

The Storm was likewise as well but in general have more class and strike power to overcome the problems.

Why bother? Preniers did it solely for sh*ts and giggles and I doubt he has any intention of actually updating the thread as do I on Tuesday... let it die and let's get on with it eh?

Will they be marking up against one another or be on opposite sides of the field?

I think in Brisbane's case they just needed time to gel but in reality both backlines are much weaker than they were last year IMO. Having said that Folau could prove the difference for Brisbane.
