ugh this is pretty much game of the year and peeps is all saying sh*t about how its nothing more than a folau/inglis battle. the 2 best teams in the comp, played in the 06 grand final. have played against each other in every year of the finals since 2004, have had many fiery and close encounters. rivalry game, between the best 2 teams. this is barca/real stuff here. Go Broncos!

Disagree tbh, I don't think they're the two best teams in the comp at the moment. Melbourne didn't play to their best the other night and Brisbane barely got past NQ themselves. Should be a very fiery match and offers much more than just the Folau/Inglis match-up (and they won't be marking each other anyway) but you've also got Hunt, Lockyer, Wallace etc in maroon and the likes of Smith, Slater and Cronk in the purple. Great match-ups across the park, hope they both go up a gear after showing a bit of rust last week.

Want to explain the relevence of any of the above posts to the actual match. Compared to this being I think the 3rd post I have made in response to your slander. Not to mention the fact you started a thread which had already been made.

As for the match, Im not real sure. I think that Melbourne were the more impressive of the two sides on friday (having said that I dont think either were overly great), but a lot will depend on Johnson and White and their availabilty. If they play, they will run over an inexperienced Brisbane forward pack. If they dont, then I see Brisbane winning this at home.
Will be compulsive viewing thats for sure.

Issy and GI may not be directly marking each other but you can be sure Inglis will be running at Issy all game, so there will be plenty of confrontation between the 2. Storm have tweaked there left side to give him more rooom in that the 2nd-rower will more often then not take an inside line once he sees Gregs made his mind up to run.
