Do you only have to be close to onside now or something? What happened to both feet in line or behind the kicker? Foran was a good metre offside at least and it was pretty clear. Anyone who couldn't see that shouldn't be anywhere near a video ref's box.

No way he was onside. At the start of the season, you couldn't buy a benefit of the doubt decision. Now they hand them out for anything that comes their way.

You'd have to say that the Knights have been a bit hard done by, especially with Foran's 'try' and the less contentious build-up to Farrar's try.

That said, the Knights had been beginning to slice their own throat with all those drop balls in their own territory - it was always going to bite them hard at some point. In addition to this, Ben Rogers deadset blew a try when they were up 14-0.

Half-time couldn't have come soon enough for them. If they can play with a bit more discipline with ball in hand, they are still a chance, but momentum is with Manly.

Strange game. Still don't know who's going to win, Manly could come out and play like they did in the first 20. Newcastle look gone though.
I think Smith leaving has messed with them this week, plus losing Kidley and having Mullen out. Oh well, Go Manly!!

P.s. it was a try for all money, go Bill!

Well you only have to approximately ground the ball for a try, so its not a great stretch for the refs not to worry as long as someone's approximately onside.

That said, I bet that would not have been a try for one of the lower ranked teams in the comp.

Well you can't blame refs anymore, just us being pure sh*t and no effort. I'd put it down to Brian smith drama.

That touchie should be sacked after that forward pass call, followed by the completely unprofessional "have a cry" motion to the crowd.

Clearly this dickhead copped some rightful abuse over his shocking decision at the start of the second half to rule the newcastle winger into touch when there was a clear flop, and has decided to call as much sh*t against Newcastle as possible, as well as allowing Manly to get away with dozens of high tackles etc.

Honestly, that was so amateur its embarrassing

Hilarious....refs and touchies should get more intereactive with the crowd, imo

Bad luck Knights fans, no luck at all and a tragically bad performance. Can't say I'm getting too carried away with that performance, the Knights were just so, so bad.
