I know the morons who can't accept that the Bulldogs have been and are a force this year will try and put it down to the Bulldogs being "a crap team" and blah blah blah.. But the Eels defence tonight was amazing. If you put the Maroons out there against that defence they'd struggle to score any points.

Did you not watch the matches towards the end of last season? They are the worst displays I have ever seen from a Bulldogs side, and I have been supporting them for over 30 years now.

Mate look at the team we had last year and look at the full strength side (well, bar Stagg) that we had tonight.. At least last years side had an injury list to back up the performance.

No chance of us falling in a heap.. Tonight was a huge wake up call. They are going to get killed by Moore and the older boys like Kimmorley and will learn big time.. I feel sorry for the Rabbitohs next week.. We will be far far better for tonight's horrible performance.

You needa loss coming up to the finals, generally gets teams refocused. I suspect the dogs will only drop 1 more game before the finals.

Don't think you guys played that bad, or we played that great but our defence won us the game.

Parramatta couldnt hold the ball from about the 25 min mark onwards but when we had our chances we took them. 5 tackles in the dogs 20meters (alot tries came from long breaks) but what won the game is basically from 40-60th min dogs had alot of good field position and back to back sets and they were continually just found a brick wall of yellow. That is what won us the game, Inu tackle on Pattern was the biggest moment in the game IMO.

I was never confident going into this game. The Eels have a great side but haven't been able to be consistent throughout the season but lately they have been picking up.

I had a feeling our side would take them lightly. I don't know if that was the case or not but it was so frustrating to be there watching it.

The Eels played very well and we were very ordinary. Our defence was el crappo and our attack was pretty flat. I wish Idris got given a little more ball. Inu & Burt had their hands full trying to keep him down.

Hopefully this is a wake up call and they will learn from it.

I think the team really missed Stagg defence-wise. It was quite obvious actually.

Congrats to Parra. They really stuck it to us and their defence was excellent!

I think eels are specials for the upset , last time they played a weaken eels team without hindemarsh and i think hayne , eels couldnt tackle but were carving the bulldogs defence up last time

Eels are stronger team this time upset on the card, eels will score points against the bulldogs

I think just about all the Dogs fans have admitted that Parra well & truly outplayed them last night.
They have actually been quite humble in defeat.
