Turns out beating Brisbane wouldn't have mattered anyway, as 29 points was needed to make the 8 this season.

Funny thing is, lack of second half activity is exactly what has let us down and if today's performance was an indicator of week by week, we'd be there.

well played cowboys. Story of our season really, start off well and then proceed to play the opposition into form.

Thurston may be a good player, but he is dead set the biggest grub in the NRL. pisses me off.

What a day for Fitzgibbon though, finishes his last season with a wooden spoon, gets flattened by Charlie Webb and does his lap of honour in front of 45 people wearing swimming caps who turned out to bid him farewell.
