andrew ryan = cat... hits a bloke half his size on the ground... meow
michael ennis = little b1tch.. hitting jaimen lowe from behind a bunch of players whilst he is being held back
the morris try, well it was a fair try... but how about the bounce, try and make a ball do that, 9/10 it will skid straight out... merkin
sandow... shocking game.. musnt rain in cherbourg much
dogs... deserved that win, suprised it wasnt more...
pushing a player off you whilst they have a forearm on ur chin... hmmmm
i would have pushed him off too...
Do you think Andrew Ryan's arm there was intentionally? He scored a try and was on top of him.
Isaac Luke should have lifted Ryans arm and it would have ended there. Isaac took wanted to push and shove and get one for his troubles.
I don't see what you are all crying about.
and yeh it is subjective, i think the statement is dripping with implied racism and others don't. i don't care if people disagree with me when they understand my point, like Garts and Flappers. but some of you just don't get it to begin with.
f**k off... get those blue and whites glasses off for a second.. yeah if he left it there briefly but he kept it there long enough to piss pretty much anyone off.. luke pushed him and rightly so.. then andrew 'big man' ryan punches a bloke half his size who is on the ground...
ffs, have you ever played footy before?
if you have, you will know theres only so much time you can tolarate a blokes forearm on your chin before you react...
it's not about whether they called him aboriginal, it's offensive cause it means that he's not in the same category as allan langer.
he's not being called 'the next alfie', he's being called 'the aboriginal alfie'.
as in if u refer to someone as allan langer the AUTOMATIC assumption is they're white ... if they're aboriginal u have to point it out cause it's some kind of shock or something.
they play the same game, in the same comp, the fact that he's aboriginal has nothing to do with it unless your first assumption is that all great halves are whities.
it's like they're saying he's almost as good as alfie, but he's playing in the koori league.
wtf, read my original post i complemeted the dogs on the win and said they deserved it...As opposed to your Red & Green glasses. Geeez, how precious are you? Your team got beat fairly and squarly and can't cope with it. Have to find something to pick at, something to cry about.
Far too often you see these little midgets (Sandow is amongst the worst) niggle players twice their size and most of the time they get away with it. Not this time. Luke got what was coming to him.
Only thing that should be discussed is why was it not an 8 point try considering Luke got put on report for foul play!?
Agreed, I prefer dry matches. Last night was just too error riddled.
NGR - no problems with Issac trying to push a (non-deliberate) forearm off him, but pushing Ryan in the face to achieve that is a no-go. Rightfully put on report.
I think Ennis probably should have been binned or reported for coming like he did though but the ref is a total rookie... so meh.
WTF?
Bottom line is Luke struck out first. Ryan's squashing him was a result of him making a tackle on him, Ryan wasn't out to pin him or anything. Luke shouldn't have struck out. You and I both know the rule is the instigator is the one penalised. I was initially surprised it wasn't an 8-point try but given both sides had erred I doubt it would've gone down well...
pushing a player off you whilst they have a forearm on ur chin... hmmmm
i would have pushed him off too...
Ryan was trying to get off, luke was still holding on to him for some reason, and threw weak jab
Thats why he was on report
pffffft yeah, and he was grabbing his forarm to press down on his throat... just so he could 'throw a weak jab'
d1ckhead...
