Poor game from the storm but there was no way that pass was forward. Joke of a call.

Regardless, no way the Storm should have had the ball at that point. Cronk knocked on when he got tackled.

Anyone notice Inglis drive his knee into Collis's head with about 10 to go (just before Marshall knocked on at dummy half)? Hope the MRC have a look at that one.

Poor game from the Storm. Winning that game against us last week obviously made them think they were going ok. They should be going alot better with the team they have.

Well done Tigers, showed some great passion in the jersey this week and applied themselves for 80. Why don't we see it more often?

storm was lucky to beat the dragons and panthers, otherwise they would be fighting the sharks and eels for the spoon

I agree. They could easily have been 1-5.

However the storm WILL NOT GET THE SPOON.

They have too good of a side to get the spoon. Inglis, Slater, Cronk, Smith are individuals that will win games.

Does anyone else think that Folau is a bigger loss than thought? He gave them a 5th tackle option EVERY SET and is a very good centre.

Love Leichardt, was disappointed when the 09 draw came out that sharks didnt get a gig there.

It's obvious that the Storm have overreacted to the massive thrashing they received in the grand final.

Inglis is about 5-10kg above what his playing weight should be - absolutely no gas left in the tank near the end of the game. Slater isn't getting involved enough. Mentally scarred from the World Cup final perhaps? Cronk just takes the wrong option time after time, Cameron Smith is letting his anger get the better of him and Ryan Hinchcliffe is a poor backup. Will Chambers seems more interested in ripping a bloke's head off than wrapping up the ball, and Steve Turner and Anthony Quinn are totally anonymous.

It really is hard to believe that this is the same team - more or less - from last year.

Im not denying the storm dont have great players , its the coach what the storm fans should be concern about, after the dragons game last year when the nrl started to crack down on his dirty tactics , he has no answer and is overrated i cant believe people still thought he was one of the best coaches around

Massive loss, he probably would've jagged them a try or two tonight.

But i dont think Storm fans should get too upset, this team will come good

Laurie Daley on the Hooker battle: "Split decision. Robbie Farah was good but Cameron Smith more than held his own given the Tigers forwards dominated. If you put Cameron Smith in tthhe Tigers' side he would have been one of the standout players."

Am I being biased (I know I am bias, just wondering in this instance) or is that a pretty rough appraisal? I can cop a split decision., but seriously, Smith had more than enough chances to exert his influence on the game. Farah played a pivotal role in our first two tries. Where was Smith all game?

There were times when our forwards were getting absolutely dominated in the second half!

Based on that, Ennis is on for origin.

deadset mate. grapples or chicken wings dont win games for f**k sake. nothing to do with dirty tactics or anything like that.

bellamy and the boys are to blame for sure. bellyache is a great coach but for some reason this year he isnt getting the best out of the players and he refuses to drop the players that are not performing. the players are dropping to much ball and are too ill-disciplined.

Well if he cant get the storm players to do what he wants, and not dropping players then that proves my point

The dragons fans were crying for Brownie to be replaced because no one was listening to him and he didnt drop people looks like bellamy is the same

and the storms attack was or maybe better then the dragons were

whatever dude.

i hope we can fix the issue and scrape into the 8...if we can hit some form late in the year we might be able to trouble some teams.

The most spirited performance I have seen from the tigers in a long time, well done.

Boy are we really missing some punch in our forward pack. Combine that with Cronks lack of true creativity and it really makes us struggle. I think we'll be alot better once Sika and White come back but what till then.

Eidted to add now comes the real test of Bellamy has a coach, paritculary in relation to players he brought through but may not be doing the job anymore i.e. Hoffman & Johnson. Not saying they should be dropped now but has the games as it stands right now reduced there effectiveness. That is the one thing that makes Benny the great coach that he is, always put the success of the Broncos over any individual and his relaionship with them.

Farah has outplayed Smith almost everytime he's played against him.

The Tigers defence tonight was outstanding. If they could defend like that more often, we'd win alot more games.
